9th Annual Parish Remembrance Service

We welcome families and friends to the ninth Annual Parish Remembrance Mass on Saturday evening.

Sacraments in the Parish:  Baptism

This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Isabella Beasley. May all newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.   We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their family.

Parish Fund Raising Bingo

The Annual Bingo night will take place in the City North Hotel on Wednesday, 4th December.

Bingo night: Raffle

We will be holding a Raffle on the night of the Bingo, and we would really appreciate any donations towards same.

Donations can be festive themed; Christmas Cakes, puddings, bottles, sweets, gifts etc. and can be left in the sacristy or in the parish office.

Fund Raising:  Calendar 2021

We are researching the idea of producing a Parish Calendar next Christmas.

We will hold a photograph competition in Autumn 2020, with the best 12 photos being included in the Calendar.

We therefore encourage parishioners who are keen amateur photographers to start taking photos now to have some seasonal images for inclusion.

These photos should be of landscapes, or places of interest, in the parish and should include the date and time they were taken.

We will have more information in future newsletters.

We will resume our usual activities in the Spring.  Thanks to everyone for your continued support.

Stamullen Road Club

Last week Aoibhinn Sharkey had a great win in the U.14 Cyclo-Cross race at Kells. The events were promoted by Oldcastle CC and enjoyed by Aoibhinn and the senior members of the club.  Cyclo-Cross events are proving very popular over the winter months and a terrific way of keeping the club together.

This Sunday, Drogheda Wheelers CC are promoting the Annual Louth Coastal Tour.  Proceedings get underway at 10:30am from Donore Village and the Leisure spin will take the riders over a route of 80km in distance.  The entry fee is €20 and it is in support of Donore National School. If you are free on the day, this event is well worth supporting.
