Moorechurch Cemetery
Thank you to all who attended Mass for the Blessing of Graves in Moorechurch Cemetery last Sunday.
We hope you all agree it was a wonderful celebration.
We would like to thank all who helped on the day and all who were involved in the preparation of the Cemetery and surrounding area for our Annual Devotions.
Thanks to Gerry and Mary for providing lovely music to accompany our Ceremony, our reader Patricia and all our Eucharistic Ministers.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank Philip and Lorraine McCormack for supplying the power for the sound system and Paudge for the great job on the sound as always.
Thanks to our sacristans, Josephine and Johnny, Bridie who co-ordinates our Ministers, Christy, Denis and Myra for providing their fields for car parking and Denis and Barry who supervised parking on the day. To our collectors: Myra, Finuala, Diarmuid and Karl, Josephine.
Thanks to John Brangan who took away a tremendous amount of rubbish before the Cemetery Day.
Thank you to Pat and Mary and the staff of Clarkes for providing the Lorry.
We would also like to acknowledge the Team from Meath Co. Council and Gardai for their help on the day and in preparations - we are very grateful for their support.
Finally, a special note of thanks to all who visit the Cemeteries in our parish, for the care and attention given to the graves of their loved ones.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you when you visit either Cemetery, to please take any rubbish/unwanted flowers etc., home with you. Please refrain from dumping in the ditches and around the graveyard.
Most of all we want to acknowledge and thank the Moorechurch Cemetery Committee. We can already see the improvements their hard work and dedication is bringing to our place of burial for our loved ones. Thank you all.
God bless you all in your work.
