Fr. Malcolm – Golden Jubilee
We would like to congratulate Fr. Malcolm Timothy OFM on the occasion of his Golden Jubilee. Fr. Malcolm has always been very obliging in helping out in the parish when the need arises. Already this year he has celebrated several masses and has participated in the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. On behalf of the parish I pray that God will grant him many more happy and healthy years of Ministry.

Stamullen Road Club
On behalf of Star of the Sea Athletic Club, Drogheda & District Athletic Club and Stamullen Road Club, I want to pass on our sincere thanks to absolutely everybody for the wonderful support and turn out for the ‘Run 4 Enda’ (Benefit Run) in Stamullen last Sunday. What a resounding success this event turned out to be with over 636 athletes lining up in support of Enda. I don’t think Stamullen Village has witnessed an event of this magnitude in many a long year. A huge amount of hard work and committment went into making this Run 4 Enda a success and of course it would not have happened without the wonderful co-operation of so many people. A special word of thanks to the local people who willingly came out and provided power for the PA systems, much appreciated. Also all sponsors of hampers and spot prizes etc, and those who handed in donations. There are so many people that deserve thanks, so please acknowledge this as appreciated from the promoters. The event did cause traffic delays which were kept to a minimum and overall, patience and good humour prevailed.
