Holy Family Ballsgrove – A little bit of Francis

In “A Little Bit of Francis” we attempt to tell the story of Jorge Bergoglio starting out in Argentina and taking us to Rome and Papacy. Encouraging creativity our youth leaders worked with the young people to devise a script and music selection that should be Gospel relevant, fun and interesting, focusing on some of the issues Pope Francis highlights. By the end of our performance we would hope people would feel somewhat enthused, energised and challenged to proclaim the joy of the Gospel.

It is a great delight and honour for Holy Family Youth Choir to be invited to perform A Little Bit of Francis at the World Meeting of Families in the RDS on Thursday 23rd August at 7pm. You may like to join us on that evening or encourage others to do so.

As part of the Duleek Deanery gathering (to mark the opening), we kindly invite you to join us for a performance of the show in Holy Family Church on Tuesday 21st August at 7pm, afterwards processing to St. Mary’s.

Thanks to all who support our ongoing work accompanying young people in their faith.
