Stamullen Community Alert
The Community Alert Committee are looking after applications for the SAS (Senior Alert Scheme) Grant. This Senior Alert Scheme is open to all citizens over the age of 65 once they meet the following criteria: Living alone; Living with another person also over 65; Living alone for significant periods of time during the day.
The grant covers the installation of the alarm, pendant and the first twelve months monitoring costs once there is a landline in the house. (If there is no landline, we can install a GSM device which uses a mobile signal. There is an additional cost with this device, in order to keep it in credit, and the rental of the global SIM card).
When the Application is approved the group will arrange the installation of the alarm at a time that suits you. We would aim to have all alarms installed within 10 working days from date of approval.
