This Christmas, because of the current restrictions on numbers allowed in our Churches for public masses, we are putting on extra Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Admission to Mass will be by Ticket only
We request parishioners arrive at least 15 minutes before Mass times.
– There are no more Tickets available for Masses in St. Patrick’s Church, Stamullen
Please note: The ticket you have been issued with must be used for the designated time and cannot be used for any other Mass. Please bring your ticket with you.
- Please do not turn up at churches without a ticket as refusal may offend and it will put our stewards in an embarrassing position.
- We have been informed that the Health Board intend to check churches for compliance, so numbers have to be limited.
- A Christmas Mass will be broadcast on the Stamullen/Julianstown YouTube channel.
Unfortunately, because of current restrictions we are unable to hold our usual Christmas Masses for children. However, a Mass more appropriate for children will be posted on-line. Please check the Parish website for details: www.sjparish.ie.
The YouTube channel can be found on the parish website by scrolling down to the bottom left-hand side of the home page.
- The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available, in a socially distanced manner, on Tuesday, 22nd December in Stamullen from 2 pm to 3 pm and in Julianstown from 3pm to 4pm.
In Stamullen parishioners are invited to wait in the foyer and parish centre and enter the Day Chapel. Parishioners can leave through the Sacristy and then via the front door.
In julianstown parishioners can come in the front door, Fr. Declan will be present in the crying room. Parishioners can then leave through the back door (car park side).

Dear Lord
You were born, unexpectedly, bringing light in the darkness of winter. Help us to become aware of our own light, gifted from God.
Guide us to see the opportunities this Christmas to be an unexpected light for others. Through our actions let us use our gifts unselfishly, to brighten the days of those around us. Let us be grateful for all that has been gifted to us by sharing it freely with others, to build a community, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
