Stamullen Tidy Towns- Plants removed!!!
Earlier this year we planted the area along Crowe’s wall as a wildlife bio-diversity garden. This involved planting species that encourage butterflies, bees, hedgehogs and wildlife in general. Over time this planting will develop and overcome the weeds that can be seen at present. A lot of work has gone into the selection and planting of this area. Unfortunately over the last week someone has removed all three of the Red Lobelia that we planted!!!! We would ask if anyone is noticed interfering with the area that it be relayed to any member of the committee as such actions are very disheartening to our small dedicated group of volunteers.
Stamullen Road Club
Last weekend at the Staffords Wholesale Wexford 2-Day, Colin Robinson finished third on the opening 112km stage and after two days of racing he finished fifth on the General Classification. This was great for Colin and we were all delighted to see him race so well. Also, another great weekend for Arek Klus, despite coming down in a pile-up soon after the start on stage (1) and losing a lot of time, he had to race very hard for a long, long way before reconnecting with the race. He then went on to finish 4th Senior A2 rider on the GC.
Fixtures: Saturday/Sunday – Bog Man 2-Day in Ballinrobe + Ras Cill Mocheallog 2016 in Dungannon
