Your prayers are requested for the repose of the souls of Marta Gluszkiewicz and Martin Curran.

Please remember all bereaved families in your prayers.

CHY (Charity tax back scheme)

Our Parish is eligible for the Government Charity ‘Tax Refund’ (CHY) Scheme.

This Scheme is available to Charities who wish to claim back the tax on donations of any individual who donates €250 or over to a Charity.

Donations from our Parishioners are eligible for this scheme, and it means the Parish can claim at least 20% of the original donation total back.

Parishioners who contribute by weekly envelope or Standing Order, where the total annual contribution is over €250, will shortly receive a Claim Form. We would be grateful if you could date and sign same, include your PPS number and return to our Parish Office. We will then be able to apply for this tax refund.

When you receive your Certificates, we will include a CHY3 (Enduring Certificate) which covers application for refund of tax for five years and a CHY4 (Annual Certificate). You can chose whichever certificate you are happy to complete and return to our Parish Office or drop it into our Sacristies.

Whichever Certificate you chose to return is entirely personal (you can choose CHY3 or CHY4).

When you receive your Certificate, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Parish Office.

Thank you for your support which is very much appreciated.

Parish Projects for 2025

St. Patrick’s Church

Heat curtains have been installed in the entrance halls. A 120mm slab has also been installed and the ceilings have been replastered.

This project came at a cost of € 6,500.

The main door and side door will be painted in the next week or so.

The upgrade of the heating system is planned to be done in the next few weeks.

St. Mary’s Church

Repairs to the Roof and Gutters will commene on Monday, 12th May.

It is expected it will take three to four weeks, and the total cost is estimated at €45,000.

This is the final big job on this church and thank God, leaks and water gathering inside on the floor will be eliminated once and for all.

  • During this work all weekday Masses will take place in St. Patrick’s Church. Weekend Masses and Funerals can still take place in St. Mary’s Church.

All this work is made possible through your generous donations and support. Thank you and God bless you.
