We welcomed Iris Efua Akaun, Aoife Allen & Eire Farrell Moody in Baptism recently.
We ask Parishioners to please pray for all children and their families.
Parents who wish to register their children for Baptism must attend a Baptism Preparation meeting. Our next meeting takes place on Tuesday, 3rd September.
If you would like to have your child Baptised, please contact our parish office.
Our Parish Choirs
In both our churches we are blessed with excellent Choirs and at our vigil Mass we have our lovely Mary and Gerry.
Both our Choirs are back singing at our Sunday Masses and are looking for new members.
Please contact Catherine or Georgina after Mass on Sunday.
May God continue to bless all who make our liturgies so special.

St. Mary’s Church Bells
In the last couple of weeks, we have installed an automatic bell clock in St. Mary’s Church. This rings the Angelus at 12pm and 6pm each day and twice before each of the Masses.
The actual mechanism that rings the bell is very old which makes it extremely difficult to get accurate numbers of tolls. It is fair to say, we have a ‘personalised’ system!
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Jim Matthews for putting in this system as it was extremely difficult and problematic. On behalf of the people of the parish Jim, a huge thanks for doing this, reminding us all of our call to pray.
First Friday calls and Hospital Visits
First Friday calls will take place next Thursday and Friday, 5th and 6th September.
If you, or a member of your family, would like to receive the Blessed Sacrament or the Anointing of the Sick, please contact our Parish Office or Fr. Brendan.
If you have a family member, or know someone in hospital who would like a visit from a Priest, it is important that you contact our Parish Office and advise Hospital, Ward etc.
Due to GDPR Restrictions, we are unable to obtain this information from the Hospital and Fr. Brendan will not be permitted to visit the patient.
