Your prayers are requested for the repose of the souls of Patrick (Patsy) Cole whose funeral took place during the week, Monica Loughran, Dunleer and Donie O’Brien, The Oaks, Newbridge, Co. Kildare.  We remember the bereaved in our prayers.

St. Pauls Missals

We have a small number of missals still available in the Parish office at €7 each.  If you would like to purchase a copy you could call into the Parish office or phone and we can leave one in the sacristy for you to collect.

 

Fund Raising – Ten Week Draw

True Light Prayer Group

The True Light Prayer group meetings continue on Tuesdays,  from 8 – 9:30 pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen.  Come just as you are and share in God’s word through praise and scripture.  All very welcome.

 

Adoration

There will be no Adoration in Stamullen Church next week (Thursday, 5th)

If you would like to spend some time in quiet prayer with the Lord, please join us for one hour, in Julianstown from 9 am and after 10 am Mass on Wednesday and in Stamullen after 10 am Mass on Thursday.

 

Praying for 8th Amendment

A 40 hour Adoration to pray for the 8th Amendment is planned for St. Mary’s Church, Drogheda on Friday 13th  April from 5 pm until 9 am Mass on Sunday, 15th.  (Please see Notice Boards for more information).

 

Julianstown Adoration will take place on Friday, 13th from 9 to 11 pm and Saturday, 14th from 5-7 pm and Stamullen on Saturday, 14th April from 3-5 pm.

 

Stand up for Life

All are invited to Stand Up for Life, a series of regional rallies around Ireland, which will take place from 2nd to 8th April.

Myprayer.ie is a website that allows people ask for prayer as well as praying for the intentions of others.  Over 5000 people are registered as online intercessors.

You can order a Prayer Card entitled ‘Prayer for the baby in the womb and for families’.  This prayer card calls on the Saints of our land to protect the child within the womb through their powerful intercession.  The prayer card can be ordered from Myprayer offices in Lucan, Dublin.  (12, Millbank Business Park, Lucan, Co. Make a Wish – McQuillan Family thanks

We are so overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our friends, family and neighbours for our Make a Wish 2018 Event.  We have a raised grand total of €1853.95  There are too many people to thank by name but THANK YOU all so much, Johnny and family are over the moon as very grateful to everyone.

Stamullen Tidy Towns

We meet at Stamullen Church every Saturday morning from 11 am.  Any assistance that anyone in the community can give us would be much appreciated.   Join us to help make Stamullen a better place to live.

 

World Meeting of Families

Registration for all WMOF2018 events is open via www.worldmeeting2018.ie. Individual pilgrims and families can now register for the main three-day WMOF2018 Congress from August 22nd to 24th  for the Festival of Families on Saturday 25th August; and for the Closing Mass on Sunday, 26th August.  There are currently more than 8,000 people registered with considerable interest from overseas. Don’t miss out on these once in a generation events.

The World Meeting of Families 2018 will attract thousands of Irish and International pilgrims. Organising it and seeing it through will only be possible with the help of thousands of volunteers.
