Father’s Day Blessing
Dear Creator,
you entrusted your Son Jesus, the child of Mary,
to the care of Joseph, his foster father.
Bless all fathers and grandfathers
as they care for their families.
Give them strength and wisdom, tenderness and patience, give them ability to love
in a way that reflects your love.
Support them in the work they have to do, protecting those who look to them,
as we look to you for love and salvation.
Help us to love them in a way that would bring honour to You and them.
We pray for men who are not fathers, but still mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice.
Bless and heal all those wounded by the imperfections of their fathers.
May the example of St. Joseph inspire them to live their vocation with courage.
We remember, fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers who are no longer with us,
but who live forever in our hearts and nourish us with their Love.

We are delighted to say that work has been completed on the Skylights in St. Mary’s Church.
St. Patrick’s Church
Mass Bouquets
Mass Cards are available in each of our Churches and in the Parochial house/Parish Office.
We also have a selection Mass Cards for Birthdays, Get Well and Weddings, available in our Parish Office.
When you get your mass card signed, the date of the Mass will also be given to you.
Sacraments in our Parish
Baptism
We welcomed Lenny McQuaid in Baptism recently.
We ask Parishioners to pray for all children and their families.
Our Next Baptism Preparation meeting takes place in September. If you would like to have your child Baptised, please contact our parish office.
Cemetery devotions
Kilsharvan Cemetery
Devotions in Kilsharvan Cemetery will take place on Friday, 12th July at 7pm.
Stamullen Cemetery
Mass in Stamullen Cemetery will take place on Thursday, 20th June at 8pm.
Moorechurch Cemetery
Mass and blessing of Graves in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 7th July at 11:30 am.
Please alert friends and family outside our parish
Volunteers needed on Saturday, 29th June, when we will have a clean-up morning and we are looking for all your support. Clean-up will take place from 10 am to 12pm. Please bring rakes, litter pickers, bags, gloves etc.
Loughcrew Sunday
Loughcrew Sunday takes place on Sunday, 30th June, Mass at 3pm in Loughcrew Gardens, Oldcastle, the birthplace of St Oliver Plunkett. This year marks the 49th Anniversary of his Canonisation in Rome by St. Pope Paul VI in 1975.
St. Patrick’s GFHC Lotto
