Moorechurch Cemetery Committee

We would like to advise the following improvements to the upkeep of Moorechurch Cemetery:

  • Grass is cut for a longer period and more often.
  • Both roadways have been stoned and extended.
  • A new drain has been installed to try to stop the flooding.
  • Signs have been erected regarding no dumping in the graveyard.
  • Walls have been repaired.
  • The big tree in the front section is very old and needed to be reshaped to keep it under control – this work was completed by Tree Surgeons as special equipment had to used. It has now been maintained to a safer level.
  • Hedges were cleared of all rubbish and the rubbish picked up from around the Graveyard.

Fantastic work and the Graveyard looks exceptionally well.

Great credit to the Committee for all the work and thanks to the people visiting the Cemetery for the support.
