Maintenance Projects

St. Patrick’s Church

To facilitate painting project, St. Patrick’s church will be closed on the evening of Sunday, 7th June and will re-open on Sunday, 21st June.

  • During that time, all Masses will take place in St. Mary’s Church. Mass times will not change they will just move to the other Church in our Parish.
  • We are also preparing to replace the Gutters on St. Patrick’s Church and the installation of two new manholes to take away the water. It is hoped that this work can take place while the painting is being done.

Synodal Pathway

If you wish to find out more about the journey to date of the National Synodal Pathway, please see Baptised and Sent document on: synod.ie/baptised-and-sent/

Please pray for the Church in Ireland as it prepares for our national assembly in October, to reflect upon the themes that have emerged on the synodal journey over the past five years, may we, as a community of disciples, have the courage and conviction to respond to His call to live the Gospel anew and be open to the new possibilities the Lord is offering us at this time.

The National Synodal Pathway has reached an important moment in its journey. Currently, the working groups are meeting periodically to explore more deeply the seven priorities identified by the Catholic Church in discerning what God is asking of the Church in Ireland today.
