Feast of the Most Holy Trinity

Understanding the Trinity

The doctrine of the Trinity teaches us that:

  • God the Father is the Creator and sustainer of all things.
  • God the Son, Jesus Christ, is the Redeemer who became man, lived among us, and died for our salvation.
  • God the Holy Spirit is the Sanctifier, who dwells in us and guides the Church.

These are not three gods, but one God in three Persons, united in essence, equal in glory, and distinct in relation.

This divine communion of love and unity becomes a model for how we, as human beings made in God’s image, are called to live in communion with one another.

A Feast Rooted in Love

At its core, the Trinity is not just a theological concept—it is a relationship of perfect love.

The love shared between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit overflows into the world, giving us life, salvation, and the ongoing presence of God in our daily lives.

On this feast, we are reminded that we are drawn into this divine relationship through baptism and called to reflect that love in our families, communities, and the world.

On this Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, may we all take time to contemplate the mystery of God’s love, give thanks for His presence in our lives, and strive to reflect the unity and love of the Trinity in all that we do.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen S

Exams 2026

Please remember in your prayers, all our young parishioners who are preparing to sit their Junior and Leaving Certificate Exams:

Heavenly Father, I entrust these young people into Your loving care. Please grant them wisdom, clarity of mind, and a calm heart. Help them to recall everything they have studied, keep their nerves steady, and give them the confidence to do their best. Amen.

Prayer before Exams

Heavenly Father, thank you for this day that you have given me. Thank you for the opportunities that will come my way today, especially this great chance to show how much I have learned as I take this exam.

Keep my mind alert and my memory sharp. Calm my nerves and help me to concentrate. Guide and inspire me that I may answer the questions correctly.

Keep away all distractions from me. I pray that I will feel your presence near me to support me and lessen the pressure I may feel.
