Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Edward (Teddy) Carolan (formally of Kennetstown, Bellewstown) who died in Reno, Nevada, USA. We remember the bereaved in our prayers.
We would like to congratulate the First Communion Candidates from St. Patrick’s NS who made their First Confession in Stamullen Church during the week.
We ask parishioners to pray for all children who are preparing for First Communion and Confirmation from the parish schools and schools outside the parish as they continue their faith journeys.

Adoration Stamullen
Adoration continues in Stamullen on Thursdays after 10 am Mass and in Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am. Join us and spend some time in silent prayer before the Lord.
Alpha Course
We have now completed week of the Alpha Course conti. Why not come along and join us in Whyte’s, Stamullen from 7:30 pm. We would love to see you and you will be most welcome.

True Light Prayer Group
We meet every Tuesday night in the Parish Centre, Stamullen from 8 to 9.30 pm. Come and join us for praise, worship and scripture reading. All are very welcome.

Benefit Run
Next Sunday, 28th February there will be a Benefit Run/Walk (Run4Enda) in Stamullen Village. Starting at 12 pm. This event is being promoted by Star of the Sea, Drogheda Athletic Club and Stamullen Road Club and is for the benefit of a young man who has an association with all of the above clubs and is at present quite ill. The event is open to everybody and entry fee is €10 per person with a Raffle on the day with some super prizes. The Run will take place over a four mile course: Stamullen, Stedalt, Ballestrand, Broadleas, Gilligan’s Cross and back to Stamullen, finishing outside Whyte’s Pub.
Registration takes place upstairs in Whyte’s Function Room on Sunday morning from 10 o’clock. Refreshments will be served to all following the event. There will be music throughout this short event and all support will be welcome.
We thank St. Patrick’s GFC for agreeing to accommodate participants by allowing them the use of their car parking facilities which is much appreciated.
It is inevitable that some delays will occur in the village next Sunday for the duration of this Run, but these will be kept to a minimum and we ask for your patience and co-operation. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Poker Classic in aid of Animal Rescue
There will be a Poker Classic (€25 per ticket) in Whyte’s Put on Friday night, 26th February and all profits on the night will be donated to Collon Animal Rescue.
St. Patrick’s GF & HC – Club News
1. A.C. Hurling League Round 1 on Saturday next the 28th February at 3pm in Killyon. Killyon v St. Patrick’s.
2. Membership for 2016 is now available for everyone wishing to join your local GAA Club. Registrar Brendan Byrne is at the Club on Saturday mornings from 10am-1pm. Membership forms are available at the Club Reception at any time.
3. Underage will be back with a bang from Saturday, 28th February when the Pats Og’s hold an Open Day at the Club. Age 3-4 from 10.20-11am and Age 5 from 11.15am-12 pm.

East Meath Hospice Pancake Morning
The committee of EMHA would like to say a sincere thanks to all who supported the recent annual East Meath Hospice Fund Raising Pancake Morning which took place in the City North Hotel. Special thanks to the Hotel for their support and all the volunteers, all who gave prizes, bought tickets and attended the event.
There was a great atmosphere on the day and a total of €7,200 has been raised so far. These funds will help EMHA continue their work in East Meath. Thank You.
Meals on Wheels AGM
The Meals on Wheels AGM will take place on Wednesday, 24th February at 8 pm in the Glenside Hotel. Al very welcome to attend.
Gormanston College Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea in Gormanston Castle – Saturday 12th March. Hosted by Franciscan College Gormanston Parents Association, to raise funds for much needed school equipment and the Irish Cancer Society.
Experience Afternoon Tea inside Historic Gormanston Castle, with a harp and flute reception, together with a short ground floor tour and learn of the castle’s past. Visitors will welcome the opening of the castle’s doors for this exclusive event. We will have three sittings starting at 11:15 am. Celtic Tenors Concert
