We would like to congratulate the Confirmation Candidates from St. Patrick’s NS who had their Ceremony of Light in Stamullen Church on Tuesday.

School events this week:
St. Patrick’s NS: Children from second Class will make their First Confession in Stamullen Church this Tuesday, 16th at 7 pm.

We ask parishioners to pray for all these children as they continue their faith journey.

Ceremonies in the Parish: Baptisms
This weekend we welcome in baptism: Alex Adderly, Arthur Collins, Emily Delaney and Danny Fagan May these newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend. We welcome these children into the Parish Community and ask parishioners to pray for them and their families.

Adoration Stamullen
Adoration continues in Stamullen on Thursdays after 10 am Mass and in Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am. Join us and spend some time in silent prayer before the Lord.

Alpha Course
The Alpha Course continues in Whyte’s of Stamullen. Why not come along and join us from 7:30 pm. We would love to see you and you will be most welcome.

True Light Prayer Group
We meet every Tuesday night in the Parish Centre, Stamullen from 8 to 9.30 pm.  Come and join us for praise, worship and scripture reading.  All are very welcome.

Stamullen Road Club
On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April 2016, we will be holding our annual cycle races in Stamullen. We ask for all sports clubs in the area to please keep these dates in mind. Planning is already at an advanced stage for these races and if there are people out there who would wish to assist us in any way, please contact any club member. Help is always appreciated. Thanks.

St. Patrick’s GF & HC – Club News
1. Div 1 ACFL takes place on Sunday 14th February in Enfield at 2.30pm. Na Fianna v St. Patrick’s.
2. Membership of St. Patrick’s GAA Club is now available and anyone wishing to join or find out more about your local GAA Club please call into the Club and get a Membership Form.

Gormanston College Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea in Gormanston Castle – Saturday 12th March. Hosted by Franciscan College Gormanston Parents Association, to raise funds for much needed school equipment and the Irish Cancer Society.
Experience Afternoon Tea inside Historic Gormanston Castle, with a harp and flute reception, together with a short ground floor tour and learn of the castle’s past. Visitors will welcome the opening of the castle’s doors for this exclusive event.  We will have three sittings starting at 11:15 am. Stamullen Tidy Towns & AGM
The AGM of Stamullen Tidy Towns will take place on Thursday, 18th February in St. Patrick’s GAA Centre. All welcome.
Join us on a Saturday morning from 11 to 12 (we meet at the Church). All help, would be much appreciated.

Julianstown Tidy Towns
If you can lend a hand getting the community garden in shape on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday we meet from 10:30 for an hour followed by a Cuppa….

Celtic Tenors Concert
Balbriggan Parish are delighted to host “the Celtic Tenors” in Concert on Thursday, April 7th at 8pm in Ss Peter and Paul’s Church. The Celtic Tenors Concert is being hosted to raise funds for our Parish Pilgrimage to World Youth Day in Krakow next July. Tickets are €25 and available from the Parish Office at 8412116 and after all weekend Masses.

Make-A-Wish Ireland Annual Wish Day
Volunteers Needed: Make-A-Wish® Ireland has one simple aim – we grant the wishes of children aged between 3 and 17 years living with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy and create extraordinary memories for them and their families. Volunteers are needed for Wish Day our annual fundraising day, on Friday 8th April 2016.
There are a number of ways you could get involved and support us: * select a location nearby and volunteer to sell our badges there for the day * hold a coffee morning or bake sale in aid of Make-A-Wish * hold a Jersey Day or a similar themed day in aid of Make-A-Wish
Money raised on the day goes to continuing to grant wishes to our brave wish children.
