We would like to congratulate the Confirmation Candidates from St. Patrick’s NS who had their Ceremony of Light in in Stamullen Church on Tuesday.
We would also like to congratulate the children from Whitecross School who made their First Confessions on Wednesday night.
We ask parishioners to pray for all these children as they continue their faith journey.

School events this week:
Whitecross School: Children from 6th Class will attend their Ceremony of Light on Tuesday, 9th at 7:30 pm in Julianstown in preparation for Confirmation in April.

Candlemas

Adoration Stamullen
Adoration continues in Stamullen on Thursdays after 10 am Mass and in Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am. Join us and spend some time in silent prayer before the Lord.

Alpha Course
The Alpha Course continues in Whyte’s of Stamullen. Why not come along and join us from 7:30 pm. We would love to see you and you will be most welcome.

True Light Prayer Group
We meet every Tuesday night in the Parish Centre, Stamullen from 8 to 9.30 pm.  Come and join us for praise, worship and scripture reading.  All are very welcome.

East Meath Hospice Pancake Morning
The annual East Meath Hospice Fund Raising Pancake Morning will take place on Tuesday, 9th February in the City North Hotel from 10 am – 12:30 pm.
Come along for pancakes, tea and coffee and browse through many stalls including Arts and Crafts, Handbags, Clothes, Shoes and some new local producers will have items for sale this year.
We will also have a raffle on the day. Adm: €5. Committee members will be on hand if you wish to learn about the work of EMHA.

Stamullen Road Club
On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April 2016, we will be holding our annual cycle races in Stamullen. We ask for all sports clubs in the area to please keep these dates in mind. Planning is already at an advanced stage for these races and if there are people out there who would wish to assist us in any way, please contact any club member. Help is always appreciated. Thanks.

St. Patrick’s GF & HC – Club News
1. Div. 1 All County Football league on Saturday evening the 6th February at 7.30pm at the GAA Grounds, Stamullen. St. Patrick’s v Dunshaughlin.
2. Membership of St. Patrick’s GAA Club is now available for 2016.  Membership forms are available from the reception at the GAA Complex.

Gormanston College Afternoon Tea
Afternoon Tea in Gormanston Castle – Saturday 12th March. Hosted by Franciscan College Gormanston Parents Association, to raise funds for much needed school equipment and the Irish Cancer Society.
Experience Afternoon Tea inside Historic Gormanston Castle, with a harp and flute reception, together with a short ground floor tour and learn of the castle’s past. Visitors will welcome the opening of the castle’s doors for this exclusive event.  We will have three sittings starting at 11:15 am. Stamullen Tidy Towns & AGM
The AGM of Stamullen Tidy Towns will take place on Thursday, 18th February in St. Patrick’s GAA Centre. All welcome.
Join us on a Saturday morning from 11 to 12 (we meet at the Church). All help, would be much appreciated.

Join us every Thursday night from 8 pm in Whyte’s of Stamullen for fun Bingo night with a great atmosphere. All very welcome

Celtic Tenors Concert

Gormanston Beach Clean-up
Thanks to all who joined us for Gormanston Community Beach Clean-up on Saturday.
Please support your next monthly clean-up at 10 am on Saturday, 5th March at Delvin River Viaduct. All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath Co Co.
