Sacramental Preparation
Confirmation Ceremonies will take place in St. Mary’s Church Julianstown on Monday, 27th February.
The Ceremony for Candidates from St. Patrick’s NS will take place at 10 am and for the Candidates from Whitecross NS will take place at 12pm.
First Communion Ceremonies will take place on Saturdays, 22nd April and 6th May.
Safeguarding children
Copies of the Safeguarding Newsletter – Winter 2022 are available to view beside the Newsletters or in the Parish Office.
We are delighted to announce that Teresa Devlin, CEO of the National Board for Safeguarding Children in the Catholic Church in Ireland, has been appointed by Pope Francis as a new member of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors.
This Commission serves as an independent institution connected to the Holy See, with an advisory function at the service of the Holy Father.
Our Parish Safeguarding representatives are Stephen Leonard and Carol McKiernan.
If you have a child safeguarding concern, please do not hesitate to contact Stephen or Carol through the Parish Office.

World Youth Day 1st-6th August
World Youth Day will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. It is time to save the date and prepare for the journey. Pope Francis has registered and invites those aged 18-35 to gather from all parts of the world in joyful celebration of the faith and identity we share in Jesus Christ, Saviour of the World.
