Your Lenten Journey

Have you decided what you will do for Lent this year?

We have “Walk with Me” booklets available in our Churche/Sacristies.  These little booklets and are a lovely companion as we pilgrimage together, nourished by prayer, strengthened by Scripture and sustained by the Eucharist, towards our goal, the great feast of Easter Sunday. Cost:  €1.

CHY3 & 4 – Charity Tax Relief

You might be aware of the Revenue (CHY) Charity Tax Back Scheme.  The collective donations of an individual of over €250 are eligible for this scheme and the Parish can claim 20% of the donation back through this scheme.

If you donate to the parish, and for those who use the Weekly envelopes, where the total is over €250, we will send a Claim form which we would be grateful if you could sign and return.

These forms will be printed off and sent in the coming weeks.

With this in mind, if you are making a donation towards the Refurbishment works being undertaken in the parish, we would be very grateful if you could include your Name and Address with your donation.  This will enable us to send the relevant claim form to you.  Thank you!

Envelopes for Donations

Envelopes are available beside the Newsletters for parishioners who wish to donate to the Renovation projects which are being undertaken in our Parish.

If you wish, you can place your Donation in these envelopes and place them in the basket at the Offertory, give them to Fr. Brendan or to Carol in the Parish Office.  On the envelope, we ask for your name and address for the Charitable Tax relief scheme, explained above.

St. Mary’s Church

Due to increased anti-social behaviour in our Car Park and damage to our Church building, a new C.C.T.V. system has been installed in St. Mary’s Church.  We have also upgraded the lighting in the Car Park and installed bollards at each entrance to prevent drivers driving on the grass so as to avoid more maintenance.

We ask parishioners, if you notice any anti-social behaviour, please alert the Gardai.

Windows

A very sincere thank you to all who have already donated towards this project.

Your support is very much appreciated and there are still windows available to be sponsored.
