Fr. Adrian has now left us and is currently ministering in a parish near Athlone. Afterwards he will return to Romania to take up a position there in his Diocese. We thank him for his time here and we wish him every blessing for the future.

World meeting of families
As part of Meath Diocesan preparation for WMOF2018 all clergy and religious along with parishishioners are invited to attend a training evening in Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim on Monday, 25th September at 7:30 pm. This programme will be rolled out nationally in preparation for the World Meeting of Families. The training session will give us an overview of the programme and the resources available to parishes. Ephrem Feely, who composed the Hymn for WMF will also address the gathering and introduce the Hymn. If you wish to attend please contact the parish office.
Adoration
Adoration resumes in Stamullen next Thursday, 14th September following 10am Mass until 5pm. Everyone very welcome to call into Day Chapel during these times.
Adoration continues in Julianstown from 9 am and after 10 am Mass every Wednesday.
Stamullen Choir
Do you like to sing? Stamullen Choir welcome new members, adults and teenagers. We sing at 10 am Mass on Sundays and rehearse on Monday nights from 8-9 pm.
Come along to the Church from 8-9 pm on Monday for practice.
True Light Prayer Group
The True Light Prayer Group will resume our meetings on Tuesday, 12th September at 8pm.

Diocesan News
The Meath Diocesan Adoration Committee invites all weekly Adorers to a Eucharistic Assembly in the Newgrange Hotel Navan on Saturday October 7th from 9.15am to 4.30 pm (including Mass) to hear amazing talks and testimonies, to be inspired, affirmed, and nourished spiritually and to hear how to address adoration concerns, needs and growth. You will also get the details of Pope Francis visit to Ireland for the Year of the Family. Donation during the Assembly, will cover cost including light lunch. Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Bishop Smith will lead the annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes from 12-17th of September. This year there are 180 assisted sick pilgrims and 192 volunteer helpers including many young people. This is a big undertaking which is made possible by careful preparation and with the support and generosity of so many people. Lourdes is a shrine where the sick receive a special welcome. It is a place of healing and peace and strength. Everyone who makes the pilgrimage there experiences something special and returns home enriched. It is a time of special blessing for our Diocese. Thank you to the people who make this pilgrimage possible and please keep the pilgrims in your prayers.

Lough Derg Day of Friendship and Prayer

Bowls has returned after the summer break in St. Patrick’s GAA Centre and will continue every Tuesday and Thursday from 8-10 pm. New members always very welcome. Balscadden Coffee Morning and Cake Sale
Come along to the Community Hall in Balscadden on Saturday, 16th September from 1-4 pm for Coffee and Cake in aid of St Francis Hospice. Entries to the Balscadden bake off are welcome on the day – with awards for the best themed cake! There will be a raffle, face painting, homemade cakes and jams stalls.
