Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Anne McConville whose funeral will take place at 11 am in Stamullen on Monday and Frank Brennan, father of Regina Matthews, Silverstream Close, whose funeral took place in Drogheda last week.

Ceremonies in the Parish: Baptism
Last weekend we welcomed in Baptism: Leon Knapik, Ruairí McMeel, Mary & Daniell Olajita, and Sophia O’Neill. May these newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.
We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their families.
Adoration
Adoration takes place in Stamullen every Thursday following 10am Mass until 5pm. Everyone very welcome to call into Day Chapel during these times.
Adoration continues in Julianstown from 9 am and after 10 am Mass every Wednesday.
Stamullen Choir
Do you like to sing? Stamullen Choir welcome new members, adults and teenagers. We sing at 10 am Mass on Sundays and rehearse on Monday nights from 8-9 pm.
Come along to the Church from 8-9 pm on Monday for practice.
True Light Prayer Group
The True Light Prayer Group meet every Tuesday in the Parish Centre, Stamullen from 8 to 9:30 pm.

Diocesan News: Adoration
The Meath Diocesan Adoration Committee invites all weekly Adorers to a Eucharistic Assembly in the Newgrange Hotel Navan on Saturday, October 7th from 9.15am to 4.30 pm (including Mass) to hear amazing talks and testimonies, to be inspired, affirmed, and nourished spiritually and to hear how to address adoration concerns, needs and growth. You will also get the details of Pope Francis visit to Ireland for the Year of the Family. Donation during the Assembly, will cover cost including light lunch. Two pro-life world renowned experts, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi and Professor Priscilla Coleman, from the USA, will speak on the link between abortion and breast cancer and abortion’s harmful effects on women’s mental health on Saturday 30th September in the Ashling Hotel, Dublin 8 (near Heuston Station) 9.30am to 4pm. The Golden Girls
The Golden Girls have resumed meeting in the Parish Centre, Stamullen on Mondays at 11 am.
There will be no Golden Girls meeting this Monday as a mark of respect to our member and friend, Anne McConville, whose funeral takes place at 11 am. May she rest in peace.

Autumn Day in Dalgan
Join Dr John Feehan on Saturday 30th September from 9.30 am to 4pm in The Columban Ecological Institute, St Columbans’, Dalgan, Navan ‘Where have all the flowers gone? The wonderful and unseen world of seeds and fruits.’ Our day begins with an introductory lecture, followed by exploration of the wonderful and unseen world of seeds, fungi and fruits, in the grounds of Dalgan Park. In the afternoon, we will look at our findings with the new eyes given to us by the microscope. To book contact: Elizabeth at devofficemail@gmail.com. Places for this day are limited. The cost is €20, payable on the day. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch. Suitable outdoor clothes, rain wear and walking boots are recommended. The day will go ahead whatever the weather.
