Annual Parish Remembrance Service
We welcome families and friends to the eighth Annual Parish Remembrance in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown.

Your prayers are requested for the repose of the souls of Thomas Gabriel Folan and Christine Larkin whose funerals took place during the week. We remember the bereaved in our prayers.

List of the Dead envelopes, with sheets included, are available in both Churches and from the parish office. They are also available in the yearly envelope box.
Please be sure to submit your list before the end of November. You can leave envelopes in the boxes provided, during Mass times only, or drop into the parish office.
Fund Raising Committee
Our annual Christmas Bingo will take place in the City North Hotel on Wednesday, 5th December. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Bingo: Raffle
We will be holding a Raffle on the night of the Bingo and we would appreciate any donations towards same. Donations can be festive themed: Christmas Cakes, Pudding, Bottles, sweets, gifts, etc. Donations can be left in the sacristy or in the parish office.

St. Paul’s Missals
We have a limited number of St. Paul’s Missals available for sale in the Sacristies and the Parish Office. The cost of a Missal is €7 again this year.

We will have a selection of Christmas Day Mass Cards available for sale from the sacristies and the Parish office during the week.
Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Holy Land 2019

WMOF2018 – Meath Volunteers: Reunion
A reunion of the WMOF volunteers from around the diocese of Meath is being organised for Friday, 30th November at 7:30pm in St Mary’s, Navan. It will take the format of a liturgical gathering led by Bishop Deenihan and will be followed by a social function during which a commemorative publication will be launched to mark the commitment of so many volunteers from our diocese. Please share this link with parishioners who spent time this summer working, singing, hosting and helping in the RDS, Croke Park or the Phoenix Park.
Visit Shrine of Matt Talbot
A bus will depart from Julianstown and Stamullen on Monday, 19th November to the Shrine of Matt Talbot, Sean McDermott Street, Dublin.
The bus will leave at 9:45 am from Julianstown Church and head to Stamullen and on into Dublin.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Sean McDermott Street. The bus is free and seats are limited to 14. (Contact the Paris Office).

A Come and See, Exploring Priesthood Retreat will take place on the 23rd & 24th November in Mount St. Anne’s retreat and Conference Centre, Killenard, Portarlington, Co. Laois. Stamullen Road Club
Don’t forget Christmas Club Poker coming up on Friday, 30th November in Whyte’s. There has been great ‘advance’ support for this event and we are hoping for a full house. If you plan on playing poker on this night, please make sure you have your ticket booked (€25.)
Also, this year Whyte’s Bar-Restaurant have taken over the Christmas Draw and a huge thank you is due to Brendan and his Staff because he is donating all profit to Stamullen RC. The Draw, which will be on a smaller scale will be held on Saturday night 22nd December in Whytes. Tickets will be available during the coming week and full details will be given in next week’s Newsletter.

Catholic Family Day in Knock Shrine
Catholic family day in Knock Shrine on the 17th November. The day will include mass, talks and adoration. This day is about bringing families from across the country to Knock as it is the place where Our Lady brought her whole family. It is a day with spiritual direction, but mostly a day to bring everyone together to have fraternity and support one another.
Anam Cara
Anam Cara North Dublin, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 21st of November at 7:20pm in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Co. Dublin. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
MIC, St. Patrick’s campus
MIC, St Patrick’s Campus, Thurles is set to hold its 2018 Open Day on Saturday, 24th November (10am -2pm). This is a must attend event for all aspiring post-primary teachers and will include information on our full suite of degrees, including our new BA in Education, Mathematics and Gaeilge.
On the day information will also be available on MIC’s undergraduate entrance scholarships, worth €2,000 each, on offer to first year students undertaking study at MIC, St Patrick’s Campus, Thurles.
