Mass and Blessing of Graves
- The Annual Mass and Blessing of Graves in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 1stJuly at 11:30 am.
- Mass and Blessing of Graves in Stamullen Cemetery will take place on Friday, 29thJune at 7:30 pm.
- Please alert those outside the parish to these dates.
On behalf of families who have loved ones buried in Moorechurch cemetery we would like to thank the residents from Moorechurch who cleaned the graveyard recently. These parishioners have tidied up and emptied the bin in the Graveyard which was over-flowing.
Visitors are throwing loose waste on the ground beside the bin which is unsightly and distressing. Unfortunately there is no one appointed to clean the Cemetery so if the rubbish builds up there is no one to remove it and locals have to take it and put it in their own bins!
When visiting your loved one’s grave, can we suggest that families bring a plastic bag for their rubbish which can be placed in the bin provided. If the bin is full, visitors are requested to place the plastic bag beside the bin or bring it home with them.
