Traffic Congestion in Julianstown

A Public Meeting will be held in the Glenside Hotel on Wednesday, 16th October at 8 pm to discuss the way traffic is increasing in East Meath and South Drogheda.

Some morning soon no one will be able to get on to the M1 or in the evening coming off at Junction 7!

The R132 is now the 16th busiest road in Ireland.  People living on this route or on the Beamore/Colpe Roads are finding it extremely difficult to get out on to the road where daily traffic figures are at 22,000 and increasing by 2% annually.  Meath County Council are behind us on this, but they need funding from Central Government.

You can help by getting on to your local TD or Shane Ross, TD at the Department of Transport, Sport and Tourism.  Do you really want to spend hours sitting in traffic?

Stamullen Road Club

Updates on club activities will be announced over the coming weeks. The Cycle Cross season is open now and interest has moved to this discipline for the winter months.  Will keep you all posted.
