Fund Raising – Ten Week Draw

The Annual Parish Fund Raising Ten Week Draw will commence on Sunday, 28th February.  We invite all the promoters to collect their Draw cards which will be available from Wednesday in the Parish Office or in the Sacristy next weekend.  Sincere Thanks to all our loyal promoters and to all who support this draw every year.

 

If you would like to be included in the ten week draw, please contact a promoter or the parish office.

 

Ceremonies in the Parish:  Baptism

This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Katie Kenna.  May newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.   We ask parishioners to pray for Katie and her family.

 

First Friday Calls

First Friday calls will resume 2nd February 2018.

If parishioners know of anyone who would like to be included on the list of first Friday calls, or someone in hospital who would appreciate a visit by Fr. Declan, please contact the parish office.

 

Pro Life

A representative from the Pro-Life organisation will speak at all masses in the parish next weekend Saturday, 20th and Sunday, 21st January.

 

D.T.I.M. (Do This in Memory)

Children preparing for First Communion in St. Patrick’s and Whitecross National Schools will attend masses in Stamullen (6pm) and Julianstown (7 pm) on Saturday, 27th January.

Children attending schools outside the parish who are also preparing for First Communion are very welcome to attend.

We ask parishioners to pray for these children as they continue to prepare for this special occasion.

 

Adoration in Stamullen

If you would like to spend some time in quite prayer with the Lord, please join us for one hour during in Julianstown from 9 am and after 10 am Mass on Wednesday and in Stamullen after 10 am Mass on Thursday.

Health and Safety

While the risk of Flu remains high we feel it is important that we are pro-active as a parish.  As a result the sign of peace will be suspended as directed from the altar.  We will review this decision in a few weeks.

 

St. Pauls Missals

A limited number of St. Paul’s Missals are available in the Sacristy and from the parish office.  The price for each Missal is €7 again this year.

 

True Light Prayer Group

The True Light Prayer group will resume meetings on Tuesday, 23rd January from 8 – 9:30 pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen.  Come just as you are and share in God’s word through praise and scripture.  All very welcome.

 

Stamullen Road Club

Diary 2018:  Stamullen GP/John Reilly Memorial dates for next year will be on the weekend of the 7th and 8th April 2018.

 

St.  Patrick’s Club – Lotto

Drawn on 09/01/2018.  Numbers Drawn:1,9,21,23.  Weekly Winners: K. Lavell, M. McKiernan, Rose McGrath, Cepta Lindsay, Orla Baker.  Next week’s Jackpot: €5,900. Next draw: 16th January.

 

St. Patrick’s GF & HC – Club News

  1. The Annual General Meeting of St. Patrick’s GAA Club takes place on Monday, 22ndJanuary at 8pm at the GAA Complex.  All welcome to attend.

Cúpla Focal

Irish beginners classes resuming shortly.  Join us for a cúpla focal!  We meet upstairs in Whyes pub, Stamullen. Email brianograinne@gmail.com for further information.  Tá failte roimh chách!  All are welcome. Junior Cert/Leaving Cert students are welcome as well!

Anam Cara

Anam Cara North Dublin, an organisation that supports bereaved parents, will hold its next monthly Parent Evening on Wednesday 17th January from 7.30-9 pm in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, Co. Dublin.   Anam Cara North offers a safe and comfortable setting where you can be yourself among people who understand. Third Level Course Information Morning @ DkIT
Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) is holding a Full Time and Part Time Course Information morning on Saturday 20th  January from 10am to 1pm.
