Parish Office & Parish Newsletter
The parish office will be closed for annual holidays on Monday, 23rd July and re-open at 9:30 am on Tuesday, 6th August.
The Newsletter for next weekend, 22nd July, will cover Sundays, 29th July and 5th August.
If you would like a Mass intention to be included or if you have any items for the Newsletter over those weeks, please contact the parish office before Thursday, 19th July.
Mass Intentions
- If you wish to book a Mass please contact the parish office in plenty of time as only threefamilies’ intentions are accepted for each weekend Mass. (With the exception of a Month’s Mind Mass, when a fourth family can be added if necessary).
- Please remember Funeral Masses, when they occur, will replace the Mass of the day.
- On Sunday, Funerals will take place at the usual Mass times. Funerals therefore willtake place at 10 am in Stamullen and 11:30 am in Julianstown (on a Sunday)
- Only one Mass Intention can be taken for 10 am weekday Masses.

WMOF2018 – Mass in the Phoenix Park
We have booked a bus to take us to the Phoenix Park for the final Mass on Sunday, 26th August. We will take account of the numbers this weekend and if there are any more spaces left we will let Parishioners know next week.
WMOF 2018 Icon – Balbriggan
On Sunday 15th July from 8 to 9 am Rev Tom O’Brien of the Church of Ireland will visit the Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, Balbriggan. Then from 9-10 am – Quiet Prayer, 10 am Mass, 12 noon Mass and finally at 3:30pm Mass in Polish. (Msza po polsku swietowanie zycia rodzinnego).
On Monday 16th join us for Farewell ceremony after 10 am Mass: United in Prayer: Praying for all who will take part in the World Meeting of Families – either by attending, volunteering or from their homes.
Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock
The Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Sunday, 12th August. The Main Celebrant and Preacher will be Bishop Michael Smith and the choir taking part is the Meath Diocesan Choir. (If any wheelchair users have special needs please phone Knock Shrine directly).
Confessions 11 am to 5 pm, Anointing of the Sick 2.30pm, Pilgrimage Mass at 3 pm followed by Benediction, Rosary Procession to the Shrine and Blessing of Religious Objects.
Lough Derg 2018
The Three Day Pilgrimage is currently open. You may begin on any day until Monday 13th August. Advance booking is not necessary. Young Adult Weekend of Prayer and Reflection
Young Adults aged 18 – 45 are invited to weekend of Prayer and Reflection from 20th to 22nd July in St. Columban’s, Dalgan Park, Navan. (see Noticeboards)

The Meath Heritage Cycle Tour
The Meath Heritage Cycle Tour will be held over the weekend of the 28th & 29th July. The 11km family spin will take place on Saturday, 28th at 5pm (register on the day from 2pm), €5 per person. The 50km & 100km distances will take place on Sunday, 29th (Early bird is available until 19th then registration closes on the 26th July). Irish Guide Dogs Collection
Irish Guide Dogs for the blind have been given a permit to collect on public ground outside our parish Churches on the weekend of Saturday, 21st and Sunday 22nd July.
Collectors are all volunteers and all donations will go straight to Irish guide dogs for the blind headquarters in Cork to train more guide dogs for blind people and more assistance dogs for families who have a child with Autism.

Stamullen Tidy Towns
Stamullen Tidy Towns will host our 10Km beach walk along the Meath coastline from the Delvin bridge to Mornington Tower on Sunday, 22nd July. We will be leaving Whyte’s of Stamullen at 12 Noon sharp. The timing is to match the tides. Transport from Stamullen to Gormanston and from Mornington to Whyte’s pub will be provided. Refreshments will be available on the beach at Laytown. A barbeque will be provided with live music in Whyte’s of Stamullen. A raffle will be held on the day.
Come along and support us and have a fun filled day with the added benefit of a good workout! Tickets for the event are available from any member of the committee at €10 for an adult with under 16’s free. We now just need the good weather to last until the day……
In the meantime, clean up continues every Saturday morning. Why not join us and help us improve our village … we meet every Saturday at Stamullen Church at 11 am.
Meath Rural Social Scheme: Vacancy
Due to the expansion of the Rural Social Scheme, Meath Partnership is currently inviting applications from members of the farming community who wish to seek employment on the Scheme in Meath.
The primary aim of the scheme is to provide an opportunity for farmers or their spouses (and in some cases their children or siblings) to earn a supplementary income through employment in local community projects, primarily in the development of local amenities, facilities and services in rural communities.
