The Annual cemetery Mass will take place in Stamullen Cemetery on Friday, 24th June.  More details to follow later.

Mass and Blessing of Graves in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place on Sunday, 3rd July at 11:30 am.

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Knights of St Colmbanus: St Oliver’s Walk

The Annual Knights of St Columbanus St Oliver’s Walk, visiting seven beautiful churches in Drogheda, will be held on both Friday 27th & Saturday 28th May. The Camino style walk starts from Our Lady of Lourdes Church and follows a 3.2km route finishing at St. Peter’s Church where the National Shrine of St Oliver Plunkett is located. Walkers can complete the walk at their own pace or even over the two days and they will get their Camino style passport stamped at each church.  Full details on www.stoliverswalk.com.

Stamullen Road Club

Last Sunday in the Tour of the Mournes Senior A1 Race, Craig Sweetman finished in 5th place.  In the Swords McNally CC Summer League, Arek Klus finished 2nd.

Gay & Kay Howard wish to thank the entire Parish/Community along with St. Patrick’s GAA club for the wonderful Presentations given to them at the recent ‘Surprise’ night held in Whyte’s, Stamullen to mark the occasion of both  being awarded Honorary Life Members of Cycling Ireland. Thanks also to Brendan Battersby (who’s brainchild this was) and his crew who put the night together and to everybody else who helped along the way.

This night was a total shock, (but in a nice way) and something we would never have expected in our lifetime.  We just want to say that we are always happy to help if it is to the benefit of others and would do this without any expectation of recognition.

This was an unbelievable night for us and we just want to say ‘thanks’ to everybody involved and to large crowd who came along to celebrate the night in Whyte’s.

Star of the Sea AC

Star of the Sea A.C. are hosting their annual 5k Road Race on May 24th from 8-8.30 pm.  Please note there will be some traffic disruption in Stamullen village, Gormanston Road and Cockhill Road  as.  There will be plenty of marshals on the route, we hope to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service

The opportunity to give blood will arise at Scoil Oilibhear Naofa, Bettystown on Thursday, 19th May from 5-8:30 pm.  It is important that we all remember many patients in hospitals need our blood and this need never ceases.  Thank you.

Tesco Quite Time

Tesco are having  a ‘Quiet Time’ when people with sensory needs can shop without the added stress of additional noise, lights and movements. This Quiet time should benefit those not just with Autism but also ADHD/Sensory/mental health difficulties,and those with hearing difficulties.

Friendly Quite Hours are  on Thursdays from 6-8 pm in Tesco Balbriggan. Where their will be no music, no tannoy announcements and no rumbling.  If this proves successful  we hope that Tesco Ireland will continue with “Quiet time” for the foreseeable future.
