Corpus Christi – 29th May
Children who received their First Holy Communion this year are invited to process to the 10 am and 11:30 am Masses next Sunday. Please meet at 9:30 am at St. Patrick’s NS (9:45 am in the Parish Centre if it is raining) or 11 am at Whitecross NS.
We ask parishioners to pray for all the children from the parish who will take their First Communion this year.

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Knights of St Colmbanus: St Oliver’s Walk
The Annual Knights of St Columbanus St Oliver’s Walk, visiting seven beautiful churches in Drogheda, will be held on both Friday 27th & Saturday 28th May. The Camino style walk starts from Our Lady of Lourdes Church and follows a 3.2km route finishing at St. Peter’s Church where the National Shrine of St Oliver Plunkett is located. Walkers can complete the walk at their own pace or even over the two days and they will get their Camino style passport stamped at each church. Full details on www.stoliverswalk.com.
Adoration at Silverstream Priory
The Benedictine Monks of Silverstream Priory invite the faithful to join them in adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament daily from Thursday, 26 May (Feast of Corpus Christi) until Friday, 3 June (Feast of the Sacred Heart). The Most Blessed Sacrament will be solemnly exposed in the chapel of the priory from after Holy Mass (11 am Monday—Saturday; 10 am Sunday) until Vespers (6pm).
Meath Partnership iPad/Laptop Classes
Meath Partnership are offering classes for Laptop and iPad/tablet/phone users during June. Classes will be held in St. Patrick’s GAA Club (Wednesdsays 10-12 am and 1-3 pm). Golden Girls
The trip to Japanese Gardens and National Stud has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 24th May. The cost for the day including entry fees is €21. Bus will leave Stamullen at 10:30 am.

Julianstown Tidy Towns – Help Needed!!
We Need your Help! It’s only two weeks until judging for the Tidy Towns starts, we URGENTLY need a little help. Is their an area YOU think needs a tidy? There is lots to do such as cutting back overhanging brambles, clearing pavements of weeds, Strimiming, and of course weeding the beds, We are out on Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and an extra hand works wonders. Our planters will be in situ next week and if you were watching our Facebook Page they look great (Thanks Robert). If you don’t want to join committee that’s fine – any help is always appreciated!

An Post Ras Opening Stage on Sunday, 22nd May: Dublin Castle to Multyfarnham, Co. Westmeath, (144.6km): Route: Clonee, Co. Meath, where race will officially start at (12:30), Dunshaughlin on the R147 (12:35), Bohermeen with a prime in honour of the late Phil McDonnell, arriving at (13:18), Kells with another An Post Prime, (13:33), Lough Crew Category 3 KOM (14:18). Multyfarnham,Co. Westmeath. Riders are expected to arrive at (15:06) and will then go on to complete one lap of a local circuit before reaching the finish line in Multyfarnham at (15:30)
Final Stage from Kildare town to Skerries (147.7km): Ceremonial Start at Post Office, Kildare Town (Neutralised for 2:2km), Official Start at Cill Dara Golf club (12:15)
Route: Kilcock, Co. Kildare ((12.57), Dunsany (13:24), Curraha (13:45), Pluckhimin Category 3 KOM (13:53), Garristown (13:54), Naul (14:05), Balrothery (14:12), Cross of the Cage Category 3 KOM (14:18), Skerries Strand Street, arrival time (14:29), before completing three Laps of the Black Hills circuit.

Gormanston Beach Clean-up
Please note beach clean-up sessions for the Holiday Season:1st June to 30th September. Days and Time: 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 7pm. Meet at Delvin River Viaduct. Clean up generally runs from the Delvin River’s Bremore Beach to Ben Head cliffs. All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath County Council.
Star of the Sea AC
Star of the Sea A.C. are hosting their annual 5k Road Race on May 24th from 8-8.30 pm. Please note there will be some traffic disruption in Stamullen village, Gormanston Road and Cockhill Road as. There will be plenty of marshals on the route, we hope to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
