Sunday 18th February 2024

Lord, Jesus, each Springtime you bless us with the Season of Lent,

to bring new life to our hearts and souls and minds.

You call us to open our hands generously to help others,

to open our minds to the goodness of others.

To open our hearts to the needs of others and to open our souls in prayer to you.

During this Lent, help us Lord Jesus to answer your call

and to become more and more like you.  Amen

Lord, may my Lenten sacrifice remind me that I depend on you for all the blessings I enjoy.  Amen

Sacramental Preparation Committee

Following the success of the Christmas Passports, the Sacramental Preparation committee have produced Passports for Lent for Children preparing for First Communion.  Passports are available in the Sacristy and will be available after mass.

Children are invited to take part each week with small tasks to complete at home and to bring their work to mass to receive a stamp.

Each child who completes their Lenten Passport will receive a small prize at the end.

Sincere thanks to Diarmuid Everard of Printcom for sponsoring the Passports.

Recently we welcomed in Baptism:  Éala Folan and Leo Goggin.

We ask Parishioners to pray for all children and their families.

All parents wishing to Register their child for Baptism are required to attend a Parish Baptism Preparation meeting.
