Stamullen Road Club
Last Saturday over in Clonard, Co. Meath the Ras Naomh Finian was held and here David Wherity racing in the A3 race scored a great win and by doing so was immediately upgraded to A2 level. Then the following day Drogheda Wheelers CC promoted the Boyne GP at Gormalough and once again, David, racing in his upgraded A2 category took another brilliant win. The weekend double was (while brilliant) tinged with sadness because of the loss of Gaybo, the Boss. David thinks Gaybo pushed him over the line. Cian Delaney finished 6th place in the A1 race. Very mixed emotions for everyone. Even so, they all believe that in the future, Gaybo will be watching over them!
