Pilgrimage to Holy Door, Navan
Stamullen & Julianstown Parish has been invited to make a pilgrimage to the Holy Door in St. Mary’s Church, Navan on Friday, 6th May.
On the Friday at 7:30 pm pilgrims are invited to make the “Path of Mercy” in the Church to the Holy Door and avail of the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation in Confession. Mass will begin at 8:30 pm, with refreshments available afterwards.
This pilgrimage fulfills the conditions for the Plenary Indulgence for the Jubilee Year. “Merciful like the Father”.

Depending on numbers we would be happy to arrange a bus which would leave Stamullen and Julianstown Churches to travel to Navan. Please advise if you would like to avail of a bus.
Special Collection for Ukraine
We would like to thank parishioners for their donations to the special collection for the Church and people in Ukraine last weekend. A total of €1,020 was raised and this amount has been forwarded to Bishop Michael.
A total donation of €1,950 has been forwarded to Bishop Smith on behalf of the parish for this years Lenten Trocaire collection.
First Holy Communion
First Holy Communion ceremonies will take place in Stamullen next Saturday, 7th May and Julianstown on Saturday, 14th May.
We ask parishioners to pray for these children, and all the children from the parish, who are preparing to take their First Communion this year.

Annual Pioneer Pilgrimage to Knock
The annual Stamullen/Julianstown Pioneer Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday, 15th May this year. The cost of the day is €30, and this includes tea/coffee and sandwiches on the way down in The Longford Arms Hotel. The bus will leave Stamullen at 7:45am, and Julianstown at 8am. Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Rome

Camp Veritas is a one week ‘play and pray’ sleep away summer camp for teens 12-18 years old. It is being held in Maynooth University Campus from the 26th June to 1st July this year. Stamullen Bowls AGM

Stamullen Bowls celebrates 25 years this year. During that time we have won many leagues. The Club has finished for the Summer but will return in September. New members will be very welcome.
Silverstream Priory – Weekend Cook reqired
The Benedictine Monks of Silverstream Priory in Stamullen are in need of a cook for the principal meal on Saturdays and Sundays. Hours: 10 am-1 pm. The person must be punctual, a non–smoker, capable of following recipes as required and of working in an atmosphere of quiet. The Stamullen Community Alert AGM will take place on Monday, 9th May at 8 pm upstairs in the function room in Whyte’s of Stamullen. All very welcome.

Julianstown Youth Orchestra
The Julianstown Youth Orchestra end of year concert takes place in the Barbican, Drogheda on Friday 6th May at 7.30pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults €10 and accompanying children are free of charge. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear both Junior and Senior orchestras perform.

Star of the Sea AC
Star of the Sea A.C. are hosting their annual 5k Road Race on May 24th from 8pm to 8.30 pm. Please note there will be some traffic disruption in Stamullen village, Gormanston Road and Cockhill Road as. There will be plenty of marshals on the route, we hope to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
