Sunday marks the first day of the Mission Month of October. World Missions Ireland is the Holy Father’s official charity for overseas mission and is responsible for coordinating Mission Sunday in Ireland. A calendar of events has been put in place by World Missions Ireland throughout the month of October, details of which can be found on their website (www.wmi.ie). The first event, the film screening, Thanks to Your Noble Shadow, is coming up on the 3rd October, please let Fiona at World Missions Ireland know if you wish to attend. Envelopes – Mission Sunday (Propagation of the Faith)
We would like to alert parishioners to an error in your box of envelopes for October. The special Mission Sunday envelope (Brown in Julianstown and white in Stamullen) is dated 29th October instead of the 22nd. We advise parishioners to swap the the envelope dated 29th for 22nd. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Adoration
Adoration takes place in Stamullen every Thursday following 10am Mass until 5pm. Everyone very welcome to call into Day Chapel during these times.
Adoration continues in Julianstown from 9 am and after 10 am Mass every Wednesday.
Stamullen Choir
Stamullen Choir welcomes new members, adults and teenagers. We sing at 10 am Mass on Sundays and rehearse on Monday nights from 8-9 pm. Come along to the Church from 8-9 pm on Monday for practice.
True Light Prayer Group
The True Light Prayer Group meet every Tuesday in the Parish Centre, Stamullen from 8 to 9:30 pm. If you have a desire to know God in a real and personal way, why not come along.

Adoration
The Meath Diocesan Adoration Committee invites all to a Eucharistic Assembly in the Newgrange Hotel Navan on Saturday, October 7th from 9.15am to 4.30 pm (including Mass) to hear amazing talks and testimonies, to be inspired, affirmed, and nourished spiritually and to hear how to address adoration concerns, needs and growth. You will also get the details of Pope Francis visit to Ireland for the Year of the Family. Donation during the Assembly, will cover cost including light lunch. Meath Diocesan Pioneers
Meath Diocesan Pioneers Spirituality afternoon will be held on Sunday, 1st October at 2pm in Holy Family Church Ballsgrove, Drogheda, Co. Louth.
The Golden Girls
The Golden Girls meet in the Parish Centre, Stamullen on Mondays at 11 am. Come along and join us for tea and chat.
Stamullen Road Club
The last event of the cycle race season is coming up this weekend with the National Hill Climb championships at Castledaly, Galway.

Stamullen Bowls
We offer our sincere condolences to the family of our friend and bowls partner Anne McConville.
Anne was a founder/member of Stamullen bowls, she served on the Committee and during her time was a very successful member winning many competitions. Anne will be missed.

Gormanston Beach Clean-up
All welcome to join us for our next, once a month clean up, which will take place this Monday evening (2nd October) from 7 pm. Meet at Delvin River Viaduct. Clean up generally runs from the Delvin River’s Bremore Beach to Ben Head cliffs. All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath County Council.
Coffee Morning Thanks
A big ‘thank You’ to all who kindly donated to the coffee morning for the suffering children of Aleppo. All donations will be sent directly to Aleppo where Mass will be offered for all supporters. The Total amount raised amount to €2,165. Thanks again, Lila.
