Stamullen Road Club

Last weekend the final road event on the 2017 calendar took place. Cian Delaney travelled to Galway to compete in the All-Ireland Hill Climb Championship and here there was a bit of disappointment for him when he got beaten by a mere 0.4 seconds for the bronze medal.  It really was a great performance by Cian and he would have loved to come home with the medal but it was not to be.

The club riders will be now taking a well deserved break. For the first time ever, quite a few of our riders suffered bad enough injuries during June and July which took them out of competition for the second half of the season. We want to wish Mick Nulty, Colin Robinson, Craig Sweetman and Gary Gorman continued progress in their recovery and looking forward to having them all back with us in the near future.

Dates for your Diary:
