Sacraments in the Parish: Baptism
This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Amelia Farrell, Tymon Schutzmann, James Stone and Cara Wolfe. May all newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.
We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their family.
Stamullen Choir
We are delighted to welcome the Choir back to 10 am Mass on Sunday in Stamullen after the summer break.
If you would like to join Stamullen Choir, why not come along to rehearsal night any Monday from 8-9:15 pm in Stamullen Church. New members are very welcome.
Adoration Stamullen
Adoration will resume in Stamullen on Thursday, September 12th following 10 am Mass. Anyone wishing to join us for any hour or part of an hour would be very welcome. Contact Teresa on 087-6757581.

Eucharistic Adoration Drogheda
A Mass to celebrate the 29th Anniversary of Eucharistic Adoration will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Drogheda on Friday, 6th September at 7:30 pm am followed by tea in the Pastoral Centre, Dublin Road.

Stamullen Road Club
We congratulate Craig Sweetman on finishing 2nd in the Leinster Road Race Championhip (M40), picking up the silver medal in Dundalk last weekend.
Next Saturday, 31st August the Laragh Classic, promoted by St. Tiernans CC will take place at Laragh, Co. Wicklow, starting at 10 am.
On Sunday 29th September the Great Dublin Bike Ride will be taking place, starting in Dublin and will travel through north county Dublin/Meath, through Swords, Ballyboughal, Naul, Stamullen, Duleek, Ardcath and back to the start point in Dublin.
In previous years, Stamullen Road Club have provided Stewards for a section of this GDBR, and we have been asked again for help. If any reader has interest in helping out by Stewarding this event through our local area, please make contact with any club member. With the event starting at 8 am, it will be passing through the local area’s before mid-day and then Stewards are free to go. Exact times will be published in coming weeks. Help is ALWAYS appreciated.
Stamullen Bowls Club
Stamullen Bowls will return on Tuesday, 3rd September. Why not come along any Tuesday or Thursday from 8 to 10 pm to St. Patrick’s GAA Centre and see if bowls is for you..?

Gormanston Beach Clean Up
The next Clean up of Gormanston Beach will take place at 10 am at Delvin River Viaduct on Saturday, 7th September.
Clean up generally runs from the Delvin River’s Bremore Beach to Ben Head cliffs.
All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath County Council.

Grandparent’s Pilgrimage
National Grandparents annual pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday, 8th September. Chief celebrants: Bishop Kevin Doran (Bishop of Elphin) and Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo (Apostolic Nuncio). 2:30 pm: Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick with Music and Song. 3 pm: Pilgrimage Mass followed by the Rosary.
Navan Pioneers 100 Years
Navan Pioneers are marking their Centenary on Saturday, 19th October with Mass at 6 pm in St Mary’s Church.
The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Deenihan and will be followed by a social function in the Newgrange Hotel. Tickets available through Parish PTAA committees.
The Joy of Love in Marriage
A Marriage Enrichment Weekend offers married couples of all ages in a good relationship, private time to rekindle the joy of their love.
