Safeguarding Children
Our young parishioners are invited to join the Children’s Liturgy during Mass on Sunday mornings in both Churches.
In line with Safeguarding guidelines children will be given a consent form which we would ask parents/guardians to complete and return to the leaders over the next few weeks. Also, all leaders and helpers will be obliged to comply with Garda Vetting obligations.

Julianstown Choir
A meeting of Julianstown choir will be held in Julianstown Church on Thursday 26th September at 7:30 pm.
It is requested that, if possible, all members of the choir attend.

Mass Intentions
If you wish to book a Mass please contact the parish office in plenty of time as only three families’ intentions are accepted for each weekend Mass. (With the exception of a Month’s Mind Mass, when a fourth family can be added if necessary).
Please remember Funeral Masses, when they occur, will replace the Mass of the day.
On Sunday, Funerals will take place at the usual Mass times. Funerals therefore will take place at 10 am in Stamullen and 11:30 am in Julianstown (on a Sunday)
Only one Mass Intention can be taken for 10 am weekday Masses.
Ceremonies in the Parish 2020
Confirmation Ceremonies will take place in the Parish on Thursday, 27th February 2020 at 11 am and 3 pm.
First Communion Ceremony for St. Patrick’s NS will take place in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Gormanston, on Saturday, 25th April 2020.
First Communion Ceremony for Whitecross NS will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown (date will be advised next week).
Adoration Stamullen
Do you have an hour to share with the Lord? Anyone wishing to join us for any hour, or part of an hour, would be very welcome:

Stamullen Road Club
Last weekend in the Masters M40 All-Ireland Road Race championship in Gorey, Craig Sweetman finished 6th in a field of almost 100 riders, so well done to him. The cyclo-cross crew were all competing in Orangefield Park in Belfast and one of the clubs’ youngest members, Aoibhinn Sharkey, was involved in all of the action throughout her Under 14 Girls event.
Fixture: Sunday: Armagh Road Race 2019 open to Senior A3, A4 and Junior Categories.
Great Dublin Bike Ride next Sunday, 29th September. Cyclists will arrive at Gilligan’s Cross between the hours of 10:32 (fastest time) and last riders on the road to arrive at approximately (12:08) slowest time. Thanks to all of the local stewards who offered their help. Very much appreciated.
Stamullen Tidy Towns
Clean up continues every Saturday morning. Why not join us and help us improve our village? We meet every Saturday at Stamullen Church at 11 am.

Balscadden Hospice Fund Raiser
On Saturday 21st September from 1-4 pm the 5th Annual fundraiser in aid of St. Francis Hospice, in memory of the late Pauline Harold, will be held in Balscadden Community Hall. There will be a raffle, homemade cakes and jams, face painting etc – please come along and enjoy the lovely tea, coffee and treats, bring a friend.
Irish Blood Transfusion Service
The opportunity to give blood will arise in Duleek Boys NS on Wednesday, 2nd October from 5 pm to 8:30 pm.
It is important that we all remember that many patients in hospitals need our blood, and this need never ceases.
Navan Pioneers 100 Years
Navan Pioneers are marking their Centenary on Saturday, 19th October with Mass at 6 pm in St Mary’s Church.
The Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Deenihan and will be followed by a social function in the Newgrange Hotel. Tickets available through Parish PTAA committees.

Friends of Autism & ADHD
Join us on Thursday, 24th October at 7:30 pm in our Training Room, 102, Strand Street, Skerries, Co. Dublin for ‘Making sense of the sensory Stuff’ Workshop by Inés Lawlor.
Learn: How sensory processing affects children’s ability to attend, regulate emotions, communicate and learn: All about the senses; What is sensory processing? Sensory processing in ADHD and Autism; The relationship between stress and sensory processing; Sensory activities for sensory regulation; Learn a problem solving model for tackling difficult situations at home and school.

Domestic Violence Talk
An Garda Siochana and Drogheda Women’s Refuge will be giving a talk on domestic violence, in Duleek Courthouse on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:30pm as part of the Feel Good Project.
Detective Sergeant Laura Sweeney of the Domestic Abuse Intervention and Policy Unit and Drogheda Women’s Refuge will be speaking about all aspect of domestic abuse, the forms of abuse and the signs, and the actions you should take if you or someone you love is in a situation of domestic abuse.
