List of the Dead
The Church gives us an opportunity to remember our Dead in a special way in the month of November.
- We are invited to take time at home with our families to recall the names of those who meant so much to us and without whom life will never be the same.
- Write out their names on the List of the Dead.
- This may be your first time to do this. Perhaps older members of your family did it in the past. Don’t let this tradition of remembering the dead fade away. Make sure that someone in your family continues this custom. It is good for us to sit down and write out the names of those we knew and loved.
- Bring your List of the Dead to the Church during the month of November.
- Lists and Envelopes can be found beside the Newsletters in both churches.
We pray for those on the List of the dead on the first Friday of each month at 10 am Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown.
Please be sure to submit your list before the end of November. Envelopes can be left in the box provided (for security purposes, please remember to return completed envelopes during Mass times only), or to the parish office.

Advent is a time of spiritual preparation as we welcome the coming of Christ. In years past this season was seen
in a similar light to Lent and also involved prayer, penance and fasting.
While it seems that the original concept has been totally lost, Advent can still provide an opportunity to prepare for Christmas.
With this in mind; Adoration will be held at 7:30 pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Stamullen every Wednesday commencing Wednesday, 27th December. All very welcome.
