Mrs. Tuite Retires – Stamullen NS
We would like to congratulate Mrs Fionnuala Tuite who retired from her post as Deputy Principal of St. Patrick’s NS last weekend.
Mrs. Tuite gave 35 years of hard work and dedication to the school. We would like to thank her for her part in shaping the lives of so many of our young parishioners for nearly four decades.
We wish Fionnuala all the best for this new chapter in her life.
Annual Mass and Blessing of Graves
- Mass and Blessing of graves in Moorechurch Cemetery will take place next Sunday, 2nd July at 11:30 am.
- Mass and Blessing of Graves in Kilsharvan Cemetery will take place at 7:30 pm on Friday, 14th

Children’s Liturgy
Children’s Liturgy in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown will break for summer recess this Sunday, 25th June.

Pilgrimage to Lourdes

True Light Prayer Group
The True Light Prayer Group will resume on Tuesday 12th September at 8pm. We wish all a wonderful summer.
Balloy Farm Coffee morning
Join us at Balloy Farm for a coffee Morning and Bring & Buy Sale in aid of Down Syndrome Louth Meath on Tuesday 27th June from 10 am to 2 pm. Cakes, Plants Bric-a-Brac, Raffle. Entrance €5. Gormanston Beach Clean-up
Please note the next Gormanston beach clean up will take place next Saturday 1st July. Meet at 10 am at Delvin River Viaduct.
Clean up generally runs from the Delvin River’s Bremore Beach to Ben Head cliffs. All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath County Council.
Mosney Road/Briarleas/keenogue Street Party
Following the huge success of our Street Party last year, the Mosney Road residents have once again decided to host another get-to-gather.
The Gathering of current and past residents of the Mosney Road/Briarleas & Keenogue area will take place in Reilly’s Daffodil field, Mosney Road on Saturday, 8th July at 3 pm. BBQ will be served around 4pm. Come and meet your neighbours & catch up on all the local news. Please pass the word around to all past residents.
Stamullen Road Club
Last week at the Meath Grand Prix in Navan, Colin Robinson finished in 3rd place.
On Tuesday night at the Ardee League, Gary Gorman won the 3rd Round. On Thursday night, Cian Delaney put in a great performance in the All-Ireland National Time Trial championship at Wexford, when he finished in 9th place.
Fixtures: Saturday the Veterans Over 40’s All-Ireland National Road Race Championship at Wexford. Stamullen RC will have a very strong contingent of riders taking part and really hope to be involved in the team prize, depending on all going well.
Sunday: The All-Ireland Senior Road Race Championship will be held at Wexford. It is widely expected that the Professionals like Nicolas Roche, Sam Bennett, Ryan Mullen will be the ones who will most likely share the gold, silver and bronze medals.
- On Wednesday 14thJune, Sean Landers rode a terrific Criterium (town centre race) at Mullingar, finishing in second place.

Our next day out is 3rd July to Carlingford. All welcome to come along.

St. Patrick’s GF & HC – Club News
- Under 16 Boys Summer League takesplace on Tuesday, 27th June at GAA Grounds, Stamullen at 7.30pm. St. Patrick’s v Summerhill.
- St. Patrick’s are hosting the Div 1. Under 14 League Final on Thursday, 29thJune at GAA Grounds Stamullen at 7.30pm. St. Colmcille’s v Duleek / Bellewstown.
- Social Dancing returns to St. Patrick’s GAA Centre on Friday, 30th June commencing at 9pm – 12. Music on the night by Matt Leavy. Admission €10 each including light refreshments.
Cystic Fibrosis Collection
Betty Hagan has been given a Permit to collect for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland on the weekend of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July after Masses in Stamullen and Julianstown. Betty has raised €18,000 over the past 6 years.
Please support this collection to help Cystic Fibrosis Sufferers in Ireland.
Louth Irish Water Safety Week
The Louth Irish Water Safety Week will take place at the beach in Clogherhead from Monday, 10th to Friday, 15th July. Registration takes place on Sunday, 9th from 12-3 pm at Clogherhead Beach Car Park.
