Closing date for Volunteer Applications is announced!
We are only three months away from one of the biggest events of the Catholic Church and the single largest occasion in Ireland this year – the World Meeting of Families 2018. Pope Francis has confirmed that he will be here with us and hundreds of thousands of pilgrims will attend the events from 21st to 26th August 2018.
We need the help of several thousand volunteers for the event and the cut-off deadline to apply is the 31st May 2018! This deadline will allow us to complete Garda vetting, reference checking, and training for all our volunteers in time for our event in August.
Volunteers can give their services for four or more days, three days, two days – and even one day. These are some of the roles that volunteers will be taking on: Event Services Team, Hospitality/Meet and Greet Services Team, Information Services Team, Media Services Team, Medical Services Team, Marketing Team, Logistical Services Team, Pastoral and Liturgical Services Team, Translation Services Team, Transportation Team, Volunteer Services Team, Venue Team Leaders, Registration Team Leaders, Family Area Volunteers, Host a Pilgrim/Family.
