Stamullen Road Club

Last Sunday at the finish of Rás Tailteann final stage into Skerries, it was great to see our own Arek Klus finish the Rás safely.  Arek rode really well all week, despite puncturing on two of the stages. Unfortunately team mate Cian Delaney was not so lucky as he crashed heavily on the stage into Glengarriff and suffered (8) broken ribs and a punctured lung.  So, we wish Cian a speedy recovery over the coming six weeks.

Elsewhere, in the Swords Summer League held at Gormanston another very prominent club rider, Sean Landers scored a great victory, his second stage win in this event so far this season.

This weekend races are the Velo Revolution GP at Middleton, Co. Cork on Sunday and also the John Moore Memorial at Castlereagh.
