Ceremonies in the Parish: Baptism
This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Ethan Kezys, Nevaeh Mernagh and Oisin Rooney. May these newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend. We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their families.
Parish Fund Raising Bingo
We are holding our next Bingo Night on Wednesday, 23rd November at 8 pm in the City North Hotel. The Prize Fund on the night is €5,000. Looking forward to seeing everyone again for what is always a great fun night.
Adoration
Adoration has resumed in Julianstown on Wednesday from 9 am and continues after 10 am Mass and on Thursday after 10 am Mass in Stamullen. All welcome, just come along….
The True Light Prayer Group
Our Prayer Meeting take place on Tuesdays from 8 – 9.30pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen. Join us for prayer, praise and scripture. We welcome all who have a desire to seek God in His word and in prayer.
Vocations to the Priesthood
A gathering will be held in St. Mary’s Pastoral centre, Dublin Rd., Drogheda next Friday 14th October at 7:30 pm for anyone who might be interested in or just thinking about pursuing a Vocation to the Priesthood and for those who may be interested in Vocation promotion in our Diocese. Ballet Classes
Ballet classes have begun again. Seniors meet on Monday in St. Patrick’s GAA Centre, Cock Hill Road at 7pm. Junior/beginner class will take place on Tuesdays at 3 pm in Parish Centre, Stamullen. Phone: Clare at 087-2636124.
The Golden Girls
The Golden Girls have been working on a 1916 Exhibition which will be on show next weekend. Why not pop in to view the Exhibition after Mass on Saturday or Sunday in the Parish Centre, Stamullen.
Nathan Carter show in the TLT Theatre on 11th December. Tickets at €32 can be purchased direct from the theatre & transport can be arranged by ourselves. All trips out are open to guests outside of our group. For further information please contact Rose at 086-8377033.

Stamullen Road Club – Fund Raising for 2017
On Friday, 25th November we will be holding our annual Poker Classic in Whyte’s, Stamullen and this will be followed up on Saturday, 17th December with Monster Christmas Draw, again in Whytes.

Life in the Spirit Seminar

Family Carers Level 5 Training Course
Family Carers Ireland are providing the QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support Award training in Areas of Meath in October. Modules provided separately one day a week for five weeks from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Sonairte ‘Well being walk’
Sonairte will be hosting a guided well-being walk and walking meditation this Sunday 9th October from 2.30pm in support of World Mental Health Day, this is celebrated around the globe on the 10th of October each year and actively promotes the Five Ways to Wellbeing: Keep Learning, Take Notice, Be Active, Connect, Give. All very welcome.
Sonairte Children’s ‘Garden Days’
Onja’s Children’s Two Day “Garden Days” Mid-Term Break Camp on Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th November from 10:30am–1pm. For ages 5-12. Cost: €25 per child (10% discount for siblings). All materials included. Book via The Sunflower Cafe.
Onja Van Doorslaer has been teaching gardening to children for the past seven years. With a background in childcare and horticulture, she brings her love of gardening and considerable experience in teaching children. Onja currently works in two south county Dublin schools, co-ordinates a volunteer-led school gardening programme, teaches an afternoon gardening class, runs a garden club for over 50 children and is introducing Montessori children to the wonders of gardening. Her combined knowledge, enthusiasm, patience and sense of fun means the children always look forward to the next gardening session.
Cruisetown Cemetery Conservation Committee
The next meeting of Cruicetown Cemetery Conservation Committee is on Wednesday 19th October at 8pm in Nobber Parochial House, Nobber, Co. Meath. The Annual Mass is on Friday 4th November in St John the Baptist Church, Nobber at 8pm. The AGM will take place immediately after the Mass in Nobber Community Hall. All are welcome to attend. The well maintained church structure contains the monument and vault of the Anglo-Norman Cruise family who gave their name to the townland, an early baptismal font, excellent stone carvings and recumbent effigies of family members. The cemetery includes recorded burials from the 18th century, ancient memorials, the foundations of a bellcote and a carved “Ring” highcross, depicting the Crucifixion on one side with the Virgin and Child on the other. A newly erected Interpretive Panel provides an interesting genealogical and local history aspect to the event. E-mail: cruicetown@hotmail.com.
