Volunteers Needed

We are hopeful that we will be able to return to Mass in both Churches soon. We will adhere to Government and HSE Guidelines and directives at all times.

With this in mind, we welcome parishioners, if they would like, to volunteer to maintain the Churches between masses, with sanitisation etc.

If you would like to volunteer please e-mail the parish office at secretary@sjparish.ie to offer your name, phone number and please give permission for us to contact you.

The Most Holy Trinity

Glory be to the Father,
Who by His almighty power and love created me,
making me in the image and likeness of God.

Glory be to the Son,
Who by His Precious Blood delivered me from hell,
and opened for me the gates of heaven.

Glory be to the Holy Spirit,
Who has sanctified me in the sacrament of Baptism,
and continues to sanctify me
by the graces I receive daily from His bounty.

Glory be to the Three adorable Persons of the Holy Trinity,
now and forever.

Amen

Thanks

Thanks to all who continue to drop weekly envelopes to the church/parochial house or into the candle shrines in both churches and by standing order and/or bank transfer.  Your support is very much appreciated.

If you wish to contribute to the church by bank transfer, you can e-mail your request to the Parish at secretary@sjparish.ie and we will contact you.

Cemetery Sunday – Moorechurch Cancelled

Cemetery Sunday is due to take place in Moorechurch Cemetery on Sunday, 5th July.

In compliance with Government guidelines regarding mass gatherings, and on the instructions of Bishop Tom, regretfully our annual Mass is cancelled.

On that particular Sunday, I will offer Mass on Youtube for all those buried in the Cemetery and for the bereaved.  We particularly think of those who have gone to their eternal reward since the Cemetery Mass last year.  Since then of course, there have been big changes in life, as well as death, not only for those who have lost loved ones but for all of us.

Mass will be offered on Youtube for the deceased in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stamullen, at a later date, and most likely on the parish youtube channel.

Act of Spiritual Communion

Although unable to receive Jesus in Holy Communion, parishioners are invited during the time of Holy Communion to make an Act of Spiritual Communion using the following words:

My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.  I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul.  Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.  I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.  Never permit me to be separated from You.  Amen.
