November Memorial Mass

Come to me, and I will give you rest

Remembering those whose funerals took place in our Parish over the last twelve months.

This weekend we remember and pray for our loved ones who have gone before us and whose loss we feel.

It is a time when we are particularly conscious of those in our parish who are grieving and all those who have lost loved ones, especially in the past year.

We mark this time of year in our Parish with the celebration of Remembrance Mass and we welcome all who have joined us this weekend.

R.I.P.

Your prayers are requested for the repose of the soul of Ann Dunphy and Catherine Ryan whose funerals took place in our Parish during the week.

We ask parishioners to please remember all bereaved families in your prayers.

Sacraments in our Parish

We ask you to remember our young parishioners in your prayers. We pray that they will see and experience the love of God which will encourage them as they set out on their journey towards the Sacraments next year.

Next weekend is the first week of Advent and children preparing for First Communion are invited to come along and get their Advent Passport stamped.

Enrolment Ceremonies for Confirmation candidates will take place next Saturday, 30th November at 7 pm Vigil Mass in St. Mary’s Church OR Sunday, December 8th at 10 am Mass in St. Patrick’s Church.

(Families can attend whichever Mass suits)

Enrolment Ceremonies for children for First Communion will take place next Sunday, 1st December, at 10 am Mass in St. Patrick’s Church and Saturday, 7th December at 7pm Vigil Mass in St. Mary’s Church.

(Families can attend whichever Mass suits)

Santa is coming to Stamullen

Preparations are underway to welcome Santa, Mrs. Claus and their helpers to Stamullen on Sunday, 8th December at 5 pm. This annual event is taking place in conjunction with Whyte’s Bar and Restaurant. This year we have an additional attraction: the recently formed Stamullen Community Choir will perform their first public performance of seasonal classics from 4:40 pm. We would appreciate as many as possible to attend and of course, the children will be treated to some goodies as well. We would request that if you’re driving through Stamullen on that evening that you have patience and please obey the stewards. Hopefully the weather stays dry and a magical evening will be had by all.
