Thirty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time 19th November 2023
November Memorial Mass
Our Annual Parish Memorial Mass will take place at Vigil Masses next Saturday, 25th November.
Families who lost loved ones during the year will be invited to participate in this Mass.
Indeed, all are invited to participate and very welcome to attend. Please invite your family, friends and neighbours.
November is a time for remembering and praying for our loved ones who have gone before us and whose loss we feel. It is a time when we are particularly conscious of those in our parish who are grieving and all those who have lost loved ones, especially in the past year.
In our Parish, this week we created a sacred space/garden within both churches. This sacred space will be in the sanctuary area and it will be left in place until the end of November.
List of the Dead
You can return your List of the Dead Envelope in any of the boxes provided in both churches.
For security, please leave envelopes during Mass times only. You can also drop them into the Parish Office.
We will have a selection of Christmas cards available in the Sacristies and Parish Office from next weekend. Christmas Cards are €5 each.
Sacraments in our Parish
This weekend we welcomed our Confirmation candidates and their families as they Enrol for Confirmation in 2024.
Enrolment Forms collected at these Ceremonies will determine the numbers for our Ceremonies in March and the allocation of tickets will be decided when we know how many children we have coming forward to receive the Sacrament.
First Communion Enrolment Ceremonies will take place in December.
(If you haven’t received a First Eucharist Enrolment Form, please call to the Parish Office or chat to Fr. Brendan after any Mass).
