Mass Times

We would like to remind parishioners that from next Saturday, 3rd September, the Vigil Mass in St. Patrick’s Church will change to 5:45 pm.

 

Stamullen Choir

The Choir in Stamullen will resume rehearsals this Monday, 29th August at 8 pm in preparation for Mass the following Sunday, 4th September at 10 am.  New members most welcome.

 

First Friday Calls

Please note calls for June will take place on Thursday, 1st and Friday 2nd September.

If you know anyone who is housebound and would appreciate receiving the Sacraments, please contact the parish office or Fr. Brendan.

 

If you wish to speak to Fr. Brendan, please call in to the sacristy after any Mass or call him on his mobile.

Legion of Mary Centenary Concert 

To mark the 100th year anniversary of the Legion of Mary, a concert will take place in the historical surroundings of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin on Saturday, 3rd September at 8pm (doors open at 7:30pm) with very special guests including award winning soprano Celine Byrne, the Dublin Concert Band, Celtic Calling, Lorraine Mathews and other guests on the night.

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes ‘22 

The Pilgrimage will be led by Bishop Deenihan from 12th to 17th September.

All pilgrims will be accommodated in Hotels. All pilgrims should be able to make the pilgrimage independently or with the assistance of someone accompanying them and taking responsibility for their care.

St Finnian’s Day at Clonard

Saturday workshop – When it is Darkest: Understanding Suicide

Suicide can affect any one of us and despite the scale of devastation for individuals, family and friends, it is still poorly understood. This workshop will untangle the complex reasons behind suicide and dispel unhelpful myths.  It will also provide compassionate advice on how best to help someone vulnerable and support those struggling through the tragedy of suicide to find strength in the darkest of places.
Saturday, 24th September cost €45.  Everyone welcome.

Workshop Facilitator: Father Hugh Lagan SMA (priest with the Society of African Missions and a chartered clinical psychologist. He has led retreats, workshops and training internationally on psychological and spiritual well-being, positive change, trauma, mental health and resilience).

Peter McVerry Trust, the national housing and homelessness charity, is excited to announce the return of our biggest annual fundraising event, the Peter McVerry Trust Wexford Cycle 2022, taking place on Saturday, 17th September.  (Suitable for all levels)
