Congratulations
We would like to congratulate Fr. Ray Collier who will celebrate his Diamond Jubilee of his Ordination in St. Marys Church Julianstown this Sunday, 30th August.
May the lord bless Fr. Ray and protect him as he continues in his ministry.
Prayer as children return to school
Lord, I pray that each child will experience the peace of God this year
that surpasses all understanding.
Help them not worry about circumstances beyond their control.
Guard their hearts and minds
in Christ Jesus
Teach them to trust You daily.
Fill them with gratitude, joy, and confidence that comes from knowing You. May Your peace guide every classroom conversation, every friendship,
and every challenge they face.

Sacraments in our Parish
Our CONFIRMATION PREPARATION Meeting for parents/guardians will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown on Monday, 7th September at 7:30 pm.
- Our Parents meeting for PREPARATION for First Communion will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Julianstown on Tuesday, 10th November at 7:30 pm.
The Confirmation and First Communion Packs (including Enrolment Forms) will be distributed at these Meeting.
You will also receive information about preparation for Ceremony (and dates for preparation Masses etc.,).
Receiving the Sacrament is a continuation of growing in the Love of God which you started with your children at Baptism.

EMHA (East Meath Hospice Association)
Join us for Irelands biggest Coffee Morning in aid of East Meath Hospice Association.
We will gather in Matt the Threshers, Julianstown from 10 am – 12 pm on Thursday, 24th September. Admission €5.
All funds raised locally are used locally.

Diocesan News
We have received correspondence from our Diocesan Office regarding a second collection for the Care of Sick and Retired Priests.
The proceeds of this collection will be used exclusively to support priests who have given many years of faithful service to the people of the Diocese and who, in retirement or due to illness, now rely on the support of the Diocese. It is intended that this will become an annual collection going forward.
We will hold this ‘second’ collection at all Masses on the weekend of 12th / 13th September.
