Please note Masses to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption (Thursday, 15th August) will take place at 10 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Stamullen and 7 pm in St. Mary’s Church Julianstown.

Sacraments in the Parish:  Baptism

This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Christopher Bermingham, Theo McAuley and Jake Rice.

May all newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.

We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their families.

 

Adoration – Summer times

  • Adoration continues in Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am until 10 am Mass for the Summer months.  (Contact Josephine if you wish to add your name to the list).

Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock:  11th August

Led by Bishop Tom Deenihan with the Meath Diocesan Choir. Confession from 11 am to 5 pm.  Anointing of the Sick at 2:30 pm.  Pilgrimage Mass at 3 pm followed by Benediction, Rosary, Procession to the Shrine and Blessing of Religious objects.

Young Adult Catholic Conference

The annual Young Adult Catholic Conference takes place in All Hallows College, Dublin on Saturday, 31st August and Sunday, 1st September.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes

Bishop Deenihan will lead the 2019 Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes which takes place from 9th to 14th September 2019.

Stamullen Road Club

Last Sunday in the Leinster Classic held at Bellewstown, Arek Klus finished 7th in what was a very tough race around Bellewstown, Greenanstown, Mullateeling, Lisdornan cross and back to Bellewstown, 7 laps.

This weekend (Saturday) the action switches to Kilmessan, Co. Meath for the Beechmount Cup, starting at 7 pm in Kilmessan.

Then on Sunday, again in Kilmessan, the annual Collins Christle Memorial will get underway at 2 pm.

Meath Partnership – S Scheme

Exciting opportunity to avail of 19.5 hours work placement in your local area. Meath Partnership is currently seeking to expand the number of participants on the Tús Scheme. Tús is a one year community work placement scheme for people who are unemployed for more than 12 months and in receipt of a Jobseeker’s payment. Participants receive a top up payment while maintaining all secondary benefits. Minimum payment is €225.50 per week. You will also receive dedicated one to one career support, C. V. preparation, interview skills and accredited training throughout the year.

Type 2 diabetes Course

Dietitian led X-PERT course for Type 2 Diabetes will be starting in St. Peter’s C.O.I  Hall, Peter Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth on Tuesday, 27th August, 2019.

Friends of Autism & ADHD

Join us on Thursday, 24th October at 7:30 pm in our Taining Room, 102, Strand Street, Skerries, Co. Dublin for ‘Making sense of the sensory Stuff’ Workshop by Inés Lawlor.

Learn: How sensory processing affects children’s ability to attend, regulate emotions, communicate and learn: All about the senses; What is sensory processing? Sensory processing in ADHD and Autism; The relationship between stress and sensory processing; Sensory activities for sensory regulation; Learn a problem solving model for tackling difficult situations at home and school.
