Adoration continues in Julianstown on Wednesdays from 9 am until 10 am Mass for the Summer months.

 

Coffee Morning

All welcome to a Coffee morning on Wednesday, 21st August at Lila Young’s house, Bellewstown, from 11 am to 1 pm.  All proceeds in aid of The Persecuted Christians.

(Christians are being persecuted in many places in the Far East especially China, India, Pakistan and the Middle East and places in Africa).

Donation: €5 (to include tea/coffee and cake etc.)  There will also be a raffle on the day with lots of prizes to choose from.

 

Meath Lourdes Hospitality Group

If parishioners know any Hospital pilgrims who would like to travel with the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes, from 9th to 14th September, and need some help with the fare, please contact Lily on 087-6978783.

Stamullen Road Club

Last weekend at Kilmessan, the Beechmount Cup Race went ahead on Saturday evening, despite torrential rain and floods. Only the bravest of riders faced the starter on the night and included were Stamullen club riders. Although finishing on the same time as the winner, they were just outside of the prizes.

Sunday: North Down GP at Donaghadee

Saturday & Sunday: 2019 Cycling Ireland Youth Road Championships 2-Day in Mullingar. Here, our younger brigade will travel to compete. Craig Sweetman’s son, Toby and Peter Sharkey’s young daughter, Aoibhinn, will both compete in the Under 12 events.  We wish them well, as they are very new to the road-racing scene.

Young Adult Catholic Conference

The annual Young Adult Catholic Conference takes place in All Hallows College, Dublin on Saturday, 31st August and Sunday, 1st September.

Friends of Autism and ADHD Volunteers needed

Friends of Autism and ADHD is a charity based in North County Dublin. We operate three shops, one in Skerries and two in Balbriggan.
We urgently need volunteer staff for our shops  in Balbriggan.
If anyone out there has 2-3 hours a week to spare we could really use your help. The roles needed to fill can range from  customer service, sorting and displaying clothing, using a till,  assisting with furniture collections and deliveries or driving a van.

An Autumn Day in Dalgan

With Dr John Feehan Saturday 7th September from 9.30 am to 4pm: Venue: Columban Ecological Institute, St. Columbans, Dalgan, Navan, Co. Meath.

‘Where have all the flowers gone? The wonderful – and unseen – world of seeds, berries and fruits’ Part 2.

Our day begins with an introductory lecture, followed by exploration of the wonderful and unseen world of seeds, berries and fruits, in the grounds of Dalgan Park. In the afternoon, we will look at our findings with the new eyes given to us by the microscope.

If you wish to attend, please contact Elizabeth Mc Ardle at devofficemail@gmail.com. Places for this day are limited and early booking is advised. The cost is €20, payable on the day. Participants are asked to bring a packed lunch. Suitable footwear and outdoor clothes are recommended, and the day will go ahead whatever the weather.
