Ceremonies in the Parish: Baptism
This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Harry Grant, Cian Guildea, Nathan Murasov Patchell and Abigail Quinn. May these newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend. We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their families.
Annual Ten Week Draw
The first draw takes place this Sunday after 10 am Mass in Stamullen and will finish on Easter Sunday, 16th April. All welcome to pop in.

Sacraments in the Parish in 2017
- ConfirmationCeremonies will take place on Wednesday, 29th St. Patrick’s NS at 11 am and Whitecross NS at 3 pm.
- First Communionceremonies will take place on 6th May (St. Patrick’s NS) and 13th May (Whitecross NS).
We ask parishioners to pray for these children, and children who attend schools outside the parish, as they prepare for these important steps in their faith journey.
Diocesan Notes
A retreat for women, organised by the Legion of Mary and preached by Fr. Eamonn O’Driscoll OFM, will take place Saturday 4th March in the Parish Centre, Trim from 10am – 5pm. Theme: “If only you knew the gift of God.” Cost: €10 also includes refreshments and light lunch. For booking contact Keith Kavanagh on 0868899123.
Safeguarding Children
There are still some Garda Vetting Forms outstanding from some individuals from groups in the parish.
We need to return these forms to the Safeguarding Team in the Bishop’s Office. It is very important that all adults involved in parish activities with children and vulnerable adults, complete this form. Unfortunately failure to comply will have implications for further involvement with Church groups. Thank you.
First Communion / Confirmation preparation
- The next Do This In Memory (DTIM) Masses for children preparing for First Communion will take place on Saturday, 4thMarch at 6 pm in Stamullen (St. Patrick’s NS) and 7pm in Julianstown (Whitecross NS).
Adoration
All welcome to spend some time in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament any Thursday in Stamullen from 10am to 5pm and through the day in Julianstown on Wednesday from 9 am and continuing after 10 am Mass.
The True Light Prayer Group
If you who have a desire to seek God in His word and in prayer why not come along to our Prayer Meeting on Tuesdays from 8-9.30pm in the Parish Centre, Stamullen. Join us for prayer, praise and scripture. All welcome, bring a friend.
Special Knock Pilgrimage
A special pilgrimage to New York from Knock will take place from 8th-14th May this year. Flying directly from Ireland West Airport to JFK, the pilgrimage offers the chance to be part of a memorable and historic trip. The Itinerary includes a Requiem Mass on Saturday 13th at Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral for the re-internment of the remains of John Curry, the youngest of the Knock witnesses which will be celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Dolan. The AGM of the Julianstown Community centre will take place on Thursday 16th February at 8pm. Would like to see as many people from the parish attending.

St. Patrick’s GF & HC – Club News
St.Patrick’s GAA club are launching their coffee dock on Saturday 18th February from 9:30am – 2 pm – All welcome.
- Membership of St. Patrick’s GAA Club is now available for 2017. Forms are available at the Club reception and theRegistrar Brendan Byrne is available most Saturday mornings at the Club for anyone wishing to discuss or complete same.

- Training for lots of Underage has now recommenced for 2017. Drop into the club or go to the St. Patrick’s Facebook Page to learn more.

New bus Route from Stamullen into Balbriggan
Flexibus Local Link are running a new bus service from Stamullen, through Gormanstown and Millfield Shopping centre, to Balbriggan, and return. The bus route runs everyday including weekends. A bus timetable is on display on the Church noticeboard in Stamullen.
Rakeeragh House – Worship Weekends
All welcome to the Worship weekend at Rakeeragh House, Stamullen on Friday, 17th February at 7.30pm Teaching by David Pedlow on Micah’s Warning on Fake News! and Saturday, 18th starting promptly at 5.30pm the Worship Altar with food & fellowship afterwards. Learn to Jive

Anam Cara, the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding monthly Parent Evening on Wednesday 15th February from 7:30 to 9 pm in B.A.S.E Brackenstown Road, Swords, Co. Dublin. (No need to pre-book)

Meath Partnership Internet Courses
Meath Partnership have been granted a contract to teach basic internet skills under the government’s new Digital Skills for Citizens Grant Scheme. The Scheme aims to give people the confidence, motivation and skills to take their first steps online, so that they can play their part in an increasingly digital world. Stamullen Road Club
Dates for Diary: Saturday 8th April 2017 for the John Reilly Memorial Cycle Race and Stamullen GP Cycle Races will be held the following day (Sunday) 9th April.
