Parish Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi

The Parish Pilgrimage to Rome takes place this week.  We pray for safe flights and a safe passage.

We trust that all will benefit from the many spiritual gifts that Rome presents.  Mass for the people of the parish will be offered at one of the major churches in Rome.  The pilgrims will return to Ireland on 16th August.                                        Fr. Declan

Fr. Adrian Blajuta

Fr. Adrian continues to minister in the parish and he will be with us for the month of August.

Fr. Adrian would like an opportunity to meet parishioners.  If you would like to meet him or would like to invite him to call to visit you, please pop into him in the sacristy after mass.

Ceremonies in the Parish:  Baptism

This weekend we welcome in Baptism: Zoe Bermingham, Matilda Gavin, Darcy Gilsenan and Pippa Smith

May these newly baptised children always know and love Jesus as their friend.

We ask parishioners to pray for these children and their families.

CHY Certificates – Charity Relief for the Parish

Parishioners will be aware that, as a registered charity, the parish is eligible under the Revenue scheme to claim tax back on donations received.

Therefore we will be posting CHY4 Certificates over the next few weeks.  (This Certificate replaces the old CHY2 system). Parishioners who donated over €250 per annum should receive the Certificate.

Revenue have made some changes to the options available and one change is the option to complete a five year Certificate (CHY4).  We will print a blank CHY4 on the back of the CHY3.  Parishioners can complete their details on this form instead and return.  (You can opt out of this five year certificate at any time).

If you prefer to continue with the Annual certificate, this is not a problem, simply complete and sign the CHY3 for 2015 and/or 2016 and return.

We thank all parishioners for their continued support which is very much appreciated.
