Parish Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi
On Friday next 11th August, a number of parishioners will head on a Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi, led by Fr. Declan. We hope they have a wonderful few days.

Meath Diocese Pilgrimage to Knock
Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Our Lady`s Shrine at Knock takes place on Sunday 13th August. Led by Bishop Michael Smith and the choir for the Mass is the Meath Diocesan Choir.
Knock Novena and Preparation Programme for World Meeting of Families 2018.
A special gathering to prepare for the World Meeting of Families will take place in Knock on Monday, 21st August during the Annual Novena of Our Lady of Knock. The Diocese of Meath will be represented at the gathering by Oliver and Rosemarie Keating and their three young children Enda, Paul and Grace. Families from around the country are invited to be present in Knock at this celebration.
The World Meeting of Families 2018 invites you and all your family to come along to the launch of the one-year programme of preparation for World Meeting of Families 2018 which will take place at the Knock Shrine, Co. Mayo on Monday, 21st August 2017, the Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady. The WMOF2018 Official Prayer will be announced on this occasion. This day of celebration will include the celebration of the Eucharist, workshops and faith and fun activities for all the family. The WMOF2018 Icon will be presented at Mass in the Basilica at 3 pm and then begin its journey around the Dioceses of Ireland. www.worldmeeting2018.ie

The Golden Girls
The Golden Girls are on a break for the month of August. We finished up last Monday with a very enjoyable trip to Skerries and a wonderful meal in Whyte’s.
We will resume our meetings on Monday 4th Sept at 11 am Enjoy the holiday.
Stamullen Road Club
Last week Cian Delaney finished 6th in the Brendan Campbell Memorial at Donore, Drogheda. (97 riders competed in this race) and on Friday, Cian left Dublin Airport for Los Angelus where he will be competing in the World Police and Fire Games. He will compete in five separate events during the coming week. We wish Cian a safe and enjoyable time.
On Wednesday evening, Sean Landers won the 17th Round of the McNally Swords Summer League which was held over four laps of the Clonalvy/Garristown circuit.
Fixtures: Saturday, Navan Road Club will host the Mountnugent GP, starting at 7 pm.
Sunday: Oldcastle GP, starting in Oldcastle at 1 pm.
Bank Holiday event: Suir Valley three Day at Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Gormanston Beach Clean-up
Please note the next, once a month clean up will take place this Monday evening (7th August) from 7 pm.
Meet at Delvin River Viaduct. Clean up generally runs from the Delvin River’s Bremore Beach to Ben Head cliffs. All equipment supplied in co-operation with Meath County Council.
Friends of Our Lady of Guadalupe
A group known as the ‘Friends of Our Lady of Guadalupe’ have launched a Campaign for One Million Rosaries and One Million Visits to the Blessed Sacrament to offer to our Lady of Guadalupe (Feast Day 12th December) to beg her for the Miracle which is needed to save the 8th amendment.
There is a sheet on the Noticeboard which you can complete if you wish to take part in this campaign.
Pro Life Trust
The Annual church gate collection will take place this weekend 5th and 6th August in Stamullen and Julianstown.
It is imperative that both mothers and babies continue to be protected by the 8th amendment. Every life is precious.
Our prayers are essential to protect Ireland from the horrors of abortion. Please help – all donations gratefully received. Thank you.
Youth 2000 Summer Festival
Youth 2000 Summer Festival takes place as the Cistercian College, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary from Thursday, 17th to Sunday 20th August. For young people aged 16-35. This is an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic faith and meet many new people, with over 1400 young people from all corners of Ireland attending last year.
